Messina: Pizza-Kochkurs, Cannoli & Stadtrundgang mit lokalem Koch

Our tour was conducted by Claudia, who was absolutely excellent and knowledgeable. It was by far the highlight of our trip so far… Claudia met us right outside the cruise terminal entrance, and we began with an olive oil tasting in a lovely Sicilian shop selling locally sourced products. We then went to the Sciliano pizzeria restaurant where we began to make our pizzas. Our pizza chef did not speak English but Claudia translated very effectively and the pizza chef was very helpful and fun. We then went on a walking tour of Messina where Claudia gave us interesting information and facts about Messina! We finished off with a cannoli tasting and a wine tasting. Overall an excellent experience and worth the money!

Our tour was AMAZING!! Our tour guide Andrea met us at the port and a short 5 min walk and we were at the restaurant. Daniel, the pizza chef, was so great and helped everyone make their pizza perfect. They were so patient with my 8 year old daughter and she had such a great time learning how to make pizza from scratch. The astronomical clock and the cathedral were something to behold and our guide explained the history behind everything. We ended our tour with probably the best cannolo I have ever had! He also gave us great suggestions on what to do after our tour ended. Discover Messina Tours was phenomenal and I would highly recommend you book with them the next time you are in Messina!
