Kleingruppen-Tour Toskana: Siena, San Gimignano & Chianti mit Mittagessen

Enjoyed the walking tour of Siena. Our guide, Alessia, was very knowledgeable and helpful. She made the trip very enjoyable. The short drive to the winery was very scenic and the light lunch was tasty and refreshing. San Ginignano was scenic but over-crowded. If I had a suggestion it would be to skip San Gimignano and extend the time spent in Siena.

We had a great day with Lorenzo and our driver Alessio. Seeing all that we saw and having Lorenzo add his color was really the only way to take it all in. If we did not have such a guide we would have missed so much of the detailed history. By all means see the Sienna church…. So far it was a highlight of our historic sites visited. Sign up for this and you will be glad you did!

Excellent experience & trip! Alessio & Christine were amazing! Very engaged & knowledgeable - both exuded a love for Florence & Tuscany region. Great explanations, very responsive to impromptu questions & super engaging! On the wine/olive stop, the views were amazing & the tasting was good. We felt that including a tasting of the actual grapes and olives would have enhanced the experience along with more visibility of the actual production process vs taking a peak in rooms & showing machines that were used in the process. All-in-All it was a memorable experience!

Lorenzo was a fantastic guide who was knowledgeable and kind. Alessio was our driver who also did a great job! Originally it was hard to choose between other tours, but I think this one was perfect. With visiting only two towns, it meant that it didn’t feel rushed. Lunch was beautiful and it really added to the experience rather than all of us going off on our own to find lunch somewhere. I liked how the the vineyard we stopped at was small and we were the only tour visiting. There was about 11 people on our tour which made everything feel more intimate and personable. Highly recommend! Also - do the Siena cathedral! It was well worth the extra money and it was the most beautiful, intricately designed church I’ve ever been in!

We had an amazing fun and historic day , a favourite definite highlight of our vacation in Florence! The overwhelming beauty of Tuscany was breathtaking !! The rich history of both Sienna and San Gimignano given by our tour guide Alesia was the best! Took so many photos - simply breathtaking beautiful. Our driver Francesco was friendly and took good care of us ! Not to be outdone by the delicious Chianti wines and lunch ! Will highly recommend.
