We paid a lot of money for a private all day tour of the Amalfi coast, time for lunch, and a guided tour of Pompeii for our family of 5 and we did not get what was advertised by World Tours. The first part of our tour was the Amalfi coast. Our “storytelling driver” barely talked. We rode in silence most of the morning. Our tour consisted of “This is Postiano”, “This is Sorrento”. He stopped in Amalfi for 1hr, A 20min stop at a ceramic store, and a 20 min stop at a Lemoncello store. I asked if he could tell us about where we were and he said he didn’t understand me. We didn’t stop for lunch spite asking multiple times. He never suggested a place to eat. He just said we had to be at Pompeii at 12:30pm. When we got to Pompeii, we met Anna our guide. She saved the day. She was wonderful and gave us great tour. After Pompeii we were taken back to the ship. Our 8hr tour ended up being 6hrs 45mins. —- Not a good tour!!!!! An audio guide would of been better then sitting in silence!
