Ab Stresa: Hop-on-Hop-off-Bootstour zur Isola Pescatori

A most beautiful very small island, like a diamond , " small but beautiful "...Fantastic restaurants/cafes with views of mountain ranges on eastern side..Very quaint streets everywhere, no traffic whatsoever... spent 5 hours there, only left because ferries stopped calling ! 🤭LOVED THE ISLAND, so many gift shops to browse...Nice ferry so quick from Stesa.

The Hop on hop off boat is a great way to visit the islands. It was raining so I decided to stay for lunch which was lovely but you can enjoy the island in under an hour if you wish. However, pick up at Pescatori is only every hour and many people missed out. There’s not much to do if you miss catching the boat, so you need to wait another hour. Unfortunately there’s no system for getting onto the boats; everyone rushes forward so maybe something can be organised to ensure that people aren’t there longer than they wish to be because of the numbers. Maybe first to arrive; first on the boat with barriers set up for an orderly embarkment would help.
