Rom: Unterirdische Tempel & Reliquien der Kreuzigung - Rundgang

This tour was amazing ! I totally recommend it. Just the first visit of St Clement is way worth the price of the tour. Going underground the basilica to discover another basilica with high ceiling on top of a 2 thousand years old house on top of an underground river is totally unique. And then after that you go see the most important relics of Christianity you can hope for. The table from the Cene, pieces and nails of the cross, the holy shroud of JC, blood from JC, I mean, how more meaningfull can you go if you’re insterested in christianity. The most surprinsing is that all those places where not crowded at all (almost empty for some), since they are way out the usual tourist attractions. Our guide Daniel was super knowledgeable and easy to talk to, he actually showed us around for way longer than planned which I didn’t notice at the time since this was so interesting so I’d like to thank him again for this visit.

The tour provided access to beautiful churches and the guide was very informative providing lots of historical details. Seeing the relics of Jesus was a wonderful experience. A huge negative was the amount of walking between the sites at such a quick pace. My family of four was the only ones that were present for the tour and the guide provided no breaks or stops to rest or use the restroom. In fact, our two kids ages 19 and 16 were exhausted afterwards. It was a 3 hour tour. It felt rushed and at some sites we were unable to see some of the items as planned due to timing… perhaps a church service taking place, which I thought the guide should have planned out better because of all the walking to get there. I think it would have been much easier to see the sights on our own at our own pace and save the money.
