Von Florenz nach Chianti: Weinprobe & Abendessen in Toskanischen Weinbergen

Great tour. The wineries were amazing. The hosts were great and knowledgeable. The food was good except the 2nd course the meat was dry, but the atmosphere having dinner in the vineyard was breathtaking and memorable. The only negative was the van was hot on the way to the first winery for the first hour. Other than that overall amazing trip! Highly recommended!

Overall experience was better than expected. Dinner served was way more than what we all, as our group, had expected and our tour guide, Chiara was wonderful and sweet. Great winery as well. Only downside was didn’t like the pickup/meeting place. It’s out of way for most if not all the tourists staying in the city. This was a topic that our group had discussed and everyone agreed on that it’s something they can improve on. Other than that everything was wonderful Highly recommend

We love this tour. It started and ended on time. Our driver Angela & tour guide Phillipa was amazing. The ambience in the bus was great. The winery was amazing. It was very beautiful. The first winery snack was just ok, the wine was delicious and the explanation was great. Then we headed to a village, had a free time for only around 35minutes but the cold air in there really sobered us up. The second winery where we had dinner was the best! The food was delicious, the wine was great too. We had salami, pastrami, bruschetta and cheese, lasagna, roast beef, and a dessert. And we had 5 glasses of red wine, 1 white, 1 rosé. I do wish we had more taking picture times in the winery because we arrived at sunset and it was sooo beautiful but we were brought directly to the dining area. Overall it was an amazing experience and worth the money!

We were unfortunately very disappointed with this experience. The countryside was beautiful, but the wine and food was not good at all. At the first stop, we had what was equivalent to half a glass of wine, and then were given the option to purchase more. At the second stop we tried several wines but had close to 1-2 glasses total. During the entire dinner, which tasted like banquet/cafeteria food, the winery staff were yelling loudly about how to order and prices for buying cases of wine. If you are looking for a small tasting to help you decide what bottles to buy and ship home, this is the tour for you. If you are looking for good food and wine and scenery during the actual event itself, this may not be the right choice. I was sad that I had spent money essentially for the opportunity to listen to a sales pitch.

This was marketed as a sunset tour, however the dinner was inside at one of the wineries. It’s also marketed as a small group, but you meet up with all the other groups for dinner so it was over 100 people. Did not feel very intimate. This was supposed to be an English tour but our guide barely spoke English so we didn’t get much education on our surroundings to and from the wineries. The food and wine were good, but overall disappointed with the logistics

What a wonderful evening! It’s a bit of driving, but that’s to be expected on a trip to the countryside. Our guide, Gabriel, was interesting and engaging and spoke 5 languages 😳 the little village stop was sweet. Then the wine tasting and food pairing was just a delight for the senses, wow! The wines, the food, the balsamic vinegar 🤤 the vineyards were in beautiful locations. Wonderful trip! Would recommend 👌🏽

So you visit a lovely 1st winery, stop for free time in Greve in Chianti, then off on a road trip to the 2nd winery (with dinner). Can’t fault the first winery, great experience! Many people were moaning in my section of the bus as the tour guide was giving a iPhone camera tips lesson for 20mins where we just wanted to hear about what we were driving past. Greve in Chianti was charming & quite a long pit stop, but after here it was around a 40min trip where the bus driver was absolutely flying around winding roads. Motion sickness beware! Once we arrived at the 2nd winery, all the wines and food just felt super rushed, it was over and done with so quick.. which really put a sour grape on the whole experience.
