Geführte Tour durch Kolosseum, Forum Romanum und Palatin

Cannot recommend this tour enough. As we had a particularly bad experience with one tour operator the previous year we were so eager to get a good guided tour of the Colosseum and Forum this time around and we were not disappointed. The event was well organised and our tour guide Fi was absolutely brilliant. She was fun and so knowledgeable but she explained the history of the area so well (she had been a teacher, so that makes sense!). Lovely lady and really made the day a great experience. Would highly recommend.

Sadly, my traveling companion had a nasty fall on our way to the tour, requiring a trip to the hospital. I do not have data on my phone, so I sent City Walker Tours a message via WhatsApp as soon as we got back to our hotel, 5 hours after the accident. I sent an explanation as well as a time stamped receipt from the hospital, with the hopes we may be able to reschedule or receive a partial refund. City Walker Tours replied to my WhatsApp message late the next day, asking that I send an email with the information. I sent an email, and I was informed that they couldn’t help me, as I did not inform them in a timely manner. I fully understood that our admission tickets could not be refunded, but I had hoped for some other accommodation. So, I am very disappointed with the poor customer service from City Walker Tours.

Our tour was fantastic! Our guide Georgea was so knowledgeable ( she has degree in history) ! She gave incredible insight into the architectural and engineering aspects of these historical places. We were also caught in a torrential downpour and she made sure we were all ok/accounted for and we carried on to complete the tour. Highly recommend this guided tour and Georgea!
