Von Sorrent: Pompeji & Vesuv geführte Tour mit Mittagessen & Weinprobe

Location point was easy, good transport. We first got to Pompeii and had time to look around the Chalini factory before meeting our guide for Pompeii. She was amazing and had such great knowledge! Then we went to the Winery, it was a let down. You’re shuffled in with maybe about 20 tables worth of people. The staff were very over us and the food was very very meh, also barely any wine. After went to Mt Vesuvius then stopped at this place that we tried lemonchelo

Overall this was a great tour. We got off to a rough start as we booked this tour because it had hotel pick up and the tour guide called us to say that they could not pick us up from hotel based off our location in Sorrento and the size of vehicle that was coming. We had to walk to the city center for pick up which was a slight inconvenience. Once on the tour Pompeii was a good tour however. This tour was supposed to be in English only and it was in English and Spanish which was kind of awkward and many times we were just standing there listening to the guide in Spanish. The guide was knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time throughout the site. The winery was fantastic! The food was top notch and the wine was great. The scenery was beautiful and the staff kind and courteous. Lastly Mt Vesuvius was wonderful. You get to climb about 40minutes to the upper rim and this is a steady incline and people from a wide range of fitness and age were on the mountain. The views were stunning.

Der Ablauf der Tour war sehr gut und alles pünktlich. Es war schade, dass bei der Tour auf Deutsch nur die Führung in Pompeji auf deutsch (zweisprachig) war, die Tourguides des restlichen Tages sprachen nur englisch. Das hätte man in der Ausschreibung erwähnen müssen. Ich musste sämtliche Erklärungen über die Region und den Vesuv meinen Begleitern übersetzen, da diese kein Englisch sprechen. Ansonsten alles top und auch sehr nette Guides. Der Weg hinauf zum Vesuv ist anstrengend, lohnt sich aber absolut. Das Mittagessen war gut, aber der Service so la la. Massenabfertigung. Trotzdem würde ich die Tour weiterempfehlen.
