Agrigent: Private Tour durch das Tal der Tempel (UNESCO)

Fantastic - We booked a morning private tour, last minute, but, as there were no guides available, we accepted a later time of 3:30- what stroke of luck! Our guide Arruzza was excellent having studied archeology in Sicily She was informative interesting and her passion was infectious. It’s one of the best guided tours we have done in an exceptionally beautiful unique and historical area. The afternoon timing ensured we could comfortably remain to see the temples floodlit which was amazing. I would recommend this tour to get the most out of your visit we all thought it was excellent value.

We were disappointed that she left us 30 minutes early without showing us the Zeus base. It seems that she had somewhere else to go. We paid a very high price so that we had an exclusive tour. Instead, we got an average tour that was rushed and ending early without seeing everything at the valley of the temples. Would not use your service again. Withlocals does a much better job of vetting their guides.

Hendrike is an expert guide who has more than 30 years of experience in guiding the tours. She is so knowledgeable and took all the questions that we asked and answered all of them so clearly. We learned so much about the history of the ruins and it made our visit so interesting, pleasant and unforgettable. She took care of us very well; led our tour at the right speed / pace, including a short, pleasant coffee break in-between. We were so pleased that she was the one who guided us today. Clearly one of the best guided sightseeing tours that we have ever had. Thank you so much Hendrike.

Rossana valenti is an excellent guide! We enjoyed so much, she is very friendly and knowledgeable, she told us a lot of interesting things about Agrigento, history, temples and even trees! She was wonderful and we are happy to get her. Only thing is that the point on the map was wrong and because of this we were half an hour late, but Rossana made our tour 30 mins more so even this situation was solved very quickly by her! I recommend this excursion 100%. Remember that meeting point is ticket office.

Outstanding private tour with Rino! This guy is not only an encyclopedia of ancient Roman/Greek history but he is also so incredibly passionate about the subject matter which keeps you engaged AND is even a bit of a videographer! lol I had him film this epic ig reel for me at the Temples of Hera and Heracles/Hercules and he took an awesome photo of me in front of the Fallen Icarus statue and Temple of Concordia.
