Sorrento: Bauernhoftour mit Käseverkostung & Pizza-Kochkurs

Our time with Francesco and his family at their beautiful farm was one of the top highlights of our trip! We ate grapes from the vine, hazelnuts off the trees, plums and apples from their branches. We drank incredible homemade wine and limoncello. The pizza making was authentic and delicious. Francesco is super smart and a very fun, engaging and endearing guide. Transportation was easy and tranquil.

From the moment we were picked up we were made to feel at ease and welcome. Francesco and his family were so friendly and warm. Farm tour was very interesting and pizza making was lots of fun (and resulted in a delicious lunch!) We enjoyed the cheese tasting and found it educational. All instructions were easy to understand. We liked that we could then buy their produce if we wanted to. Soft drinks and wine included, what more could you possibly want??! We loved our experience.

Helt fantastisk fra start til slutt!! Alle som er i Sorrento må dra hit, og man får mye for pengene. Vi ble hentet i Sorrento sentrum, fikk en komfortabel tur opp til den vakre gården. Vi gikk igjennom gården og lærte om vin og olivenolje. Gården er helt fantastisk fin med vakker utsikt. Pizzakurset ble holdt av en av datterene på gården og det var veldig lærerikt. Fikk også kurs om ost og mozzarella. Vi fikk ubegrenset tilgang til vin,som de også lager på gården og er helt fantastisk (man burde kjøpe en flaske av den også).🍷 Fikk nydelig dessert, litt småmat, ost, shot av både limincello og melonchello, og selvfølgelig pizzaen. ❣️ De tok også bilder/video av oss mens vi lagde pizza så vi har minnene å se tilbake på!

I visited with my two boys (both under 11), and this was easily one of the best things we did on our trip. It struck the absolute perfect balance: fascinating information for adults and non-stop fun for the kids. The boys loved petting the animals and had a fantastic time in the large play area with the other children in the group. The pizza dough making and throwing was a massive hit and so much fun for everyone. We then sat down to enjoy our creations with unlimited wine, followed by a delicious "annacotta" and limoncello. Finishing off with a brilliant mozzarella-making demonstration and tasting topped off an incredible day. It is a wonderful, family-run farm with a fantastic host group. If you could bottle Italy, this would be it!

I had the pleasure of doing this activity with my two girl best friends. We had trouble navigating the transportation there and they were so accommodating with letting us reschedule so we could participate. The entire activity was 4hrs long and it was so informative, hands on, with the most beautiful atmosphere. Francesco and his family were so sweet and welcoming into their home. This was the exact local experience we were searching for. His wife and 2 daughters helped guide us in the process of making the pizza and how to make fresh mozzarella. The transportation to and from the activity was very easy. I would recommend this activity a million times over! This was the highlight of our trip to the coast.
