Von Neapel/Salerno: Tour nach Pompeji, Sorrent & Amalfiküste

Selene did a great job of giving us a wonderful tour through the Amalfi Coast. We had panoramic view of Positano, a fun limoncello tasting and wandering in Sorrento, followed by a gorgeous lunch. We then headed to Pompeii where we had a separate guide take us through the ruins, and she was very informative. We ended the tour with a sweet parting gift of a postcard from Selene. The mini bus was very nice and really well air-conditioned. Super comfortable ride and a great day in all!

We had the most enjoyable tour day. our guild Benjamin was brilliant, very kind, and knowledgeable. He made my daughter and i feel comfortable at all times (definitely not crazy!) there was 2 other people on our tour, they were very rude and disappeared at sorrento without any notice, waisting our time as we had to hang around and wait for them. Ben handled this very professionally and it didn't effect the rest of our day. we visited sorrento with plenty of free time. sore beautiful sights on our way to positano, with a breathtaking stop, we visited the limonchello factory where we were able to sample multiple flavours, we were also offered a stop at a local vineyard but choose free time at pompeii. we visited the beautiful restaurant there before meeting Giorga and carlo for our guided tour. which was amazing and definitely the highlight of our trip, ticking off my daughters 21st birthday wish. we were then remeet by Ben with ice cold water. we had the most fantastic day.

Amazing excursion from Napoli, Italy!! Emiiliano is the man! He showed us the town of Sorrento and beautiful overlooks all over to Positano. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Pompei was such an interesting part of history and a must see when by Napoli and Amalfi coast. This tour is a great value. Definitely take this tour if you’re in the area!

Sorrento was too long. Guide’s first stop was a shop to buy things which she likely got paid to bring us into. As well as lunch, we were pushed to go to her favorite restaurant. We did not purchase the live guide in Pompeii and she again pushed for everyone to join the guided group for a fee. In Pompeii we did not have enough time to see the things we wanted to see. Most of us on the trip wanted to see the casts of the victims and we were not told which part of Pompeii we would see or given the opportunity to choose the section. We saw 3 casts total. I would not repeat this tour.

Unfortunately my daughter of 13 became very ill over the evening prior and was in the emergency medics all night, we called and emailed to ask to cancel and possibly be refunded something or even credited for another opportunity in the future. They stated the next day that their policy is no refund under 24 hours. I completely understand the user rules, but due to the circumstances I would think maybe a portion could have been refunded/credited. We were on a cruise and port in Naples and had to stay in our cabin the entire time so we never used it. It might have been amazing, but the fact there is no understanding to this seems a bit extreme and I cannot give a positive response due to that.

Polly and Alfredo were amazing, the trip and transport were amazing , polly made it a lot of fun and I would definitely recommend the trip with Polly and Alfredo . Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast was stunning and Carlos our guide around Pompeii was very good and knowledgeable would definitely recommend Carlos too x Overall amazing day Thank you Polly , Alfredo and Carlos x

Leider kam der Bus mit einer Stunde Verspätung zum Abholtermin! Mag sein, dass dies in Italien/Neapel "üblich" ist, aber nicht ok. Schon gar nicht wie in unserem Fall wo sich der Guide ca 15Min nach dem vereinbarten Abholtermin meldete und meinte: we are coming soon! Tja unter "soon" versteht anscheinend jeder etwas anderes! Auf nochmalige telefonische Nachfrage, erhielten wir als Antwort nur dass eben viel Verkehr in Neapel sei... auch nichts ungewöhnliches, wobei wir dann feststellten, dass der Verkehr doch ziemlich flüssig war...durch diese Verspätung zu Beginn des Ausflugs, war der Aufenthalt in Sorrent nur 1:30 Stunde statt 2:00 Stunden... echt schade! In Pompeji war die örtliche Reiseleitung sehr gut!

Dass es viel an einem Tag sein würde, war klar, aber einen Tag vorher wurde ich kontaktiert und die Zeiten der Tour verkürzt. Man sagte mir, dass es trotzdem das volle Programm sei. Na ja, war es nicht. Es lag an einer Gruppe, die von einem Kreuzfahrtschiff teilgenommen hatte und einen strikten Zeitplan hatte. Hätte man aber auch so kommunizieren können. Ich hatte das Gefühl, nicht zu bekommen, was ich ursprünglich gebucht hatte. Auch hat mich der Guide dann einfach am Kreuzfahrtschiffterminal "stehengelassen". War nicht so problematisch, aber verabredet war es anders. Der Guide war auch etwas arrogant und selbstzufrieden, irgendwie nicht so richtig engagiert. Dennoch habe ich an einem Tag viel gesehen und die Tour genossen.
