Vatikan & Sixtinische Kapelle: Kleingruppen-Tour mit optionalem Früh-Einlass

The tour was educational, very interesting, and sometimes humorous. Best of all, the tour connected me to history and my faith. The tour guide was clear with directions for the tour, very will prepared, and was happy to answer all questions. The two and a half hours were time well spent, and offered great value. Skipping the line with a knowledgeable tour guide is the way to go. The tour guide did a great job navigating the museum with us on a very busy day. Highly recommended!

If you need last minute tickets for the Vatican , this is a good option, but at a huge markup. We went very early, at 7:45, but had to wait until 8 for the Vatican Museum to open. Everyone recommended to go early, but I’m skeptical if it would have been better to wait until later in the afternoon, it was crowded, and it didn’t matter that our tour was small, as you are surrounded by many other tour groups, and it was difficult to hear our guide clearly,

Horrible. We arrived at 7:00am only to be told that we weren't on the tour. They told us that we had cancelled it on the same day we booked it, but we never received an email or a notification telling us it had been cancelled (and I did not cancel it). We booked it 3 months in advance and didn't even get to go to the Sistine Chapel because tickets were sold out by the time we were told we weren't on the tour.

I wasn’t sure what the early entry optional means, we entered the museum much like other groups. The company representatives were late and not at the meeting place as per instruction to the participants (730am), the participants were left wondering if we were at the wrong place or scammed. The commentary was average, much of the exhibits were skipped. It felt very rush. An audio guide may be a better idea if you want to linger and take your time.

This is my 4th time to tour the Vatican Museum and so far, the best. I even booked a private tour for two last year for me and my husband during the Jubilee Year but Berna (Bernadette) is definitely the best guide thus far. She explained everything so well and toured us with the highlights of the museum with ease and comfort. She is so knowledgeable and passionate about her work.
