The final tasting at sunset was unforgettable: fresh truffle aperitivo, focaccia, local cheeses and a glass of organic Gavi DOCG, paired with a Piedmont red wine that enhances every aroma. Arriving from Milan, we spent the afternoon at the Serravalle Designer Outlet and, after shopping, reached the hills of Langhe and Monferrato in just a few minutes for the sunset truffle hunt. The team was outstanding: friendly, professional, and with excellent English. In the forest, the Lagotto Bul found two Alba white truffles with an intense, clean and slightly floral aroma, typical of the summer soil of the Piedmont hills. The air carried hints of warm summer flowers and fresh underwood, making the experience even more immersive. After the hunt, we were guided to a panoramic vineyard, where the wines of the tasting are produced. The golden light over the rows of vines and the open view of the Piedmont hills created a stunning atmosphere. The tasting room was filled with the scent of freshly shaved truffle: local cheeses, focaccia, artisanal cured meats, and a guided pairing with organic Gavi DOCG and other regional wines.
