Catania: Ätna-Sonnenuntergangstour mit Etna Doc Weinprobe

This tour was amazing and exceeded all my expectations (and this comes from a German haha). The lovely guide Amilcare lives in a village on the Vulcano, so he knew everything about life there. We got to see a LIVE eruption of a crater: it was the most gorgeous scenery ever. On the left, we saw the sunset and on the right an erupting Vulcano. We stayed until it got dark and drank wine & ate snacks while watching the stars and the Vulcano eruption. I will for sure remember this trip for the rest of my life!

Such a wonderful experience! ❤️ A small group, kind and friendly people and amazing organizers who were very polite, honest and welcoming. We felt really well taken care of from the beginning to the end. Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and happy to share interesting facts. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun:) and the snacks in the end and coffee on the way were such a lovely touch! The last stop near Rifugio Sapienza was simply breathtaking, especially at sunset. And even the volcanic rain became a special memory- I felt so lucky to be the part of this trip (organisers were prepared with jackets and shoes for us). I highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to experience Etna without a lot of climbing, in a relaxed atmosphere and with a great vibe. Definitely worth it! ❤️

De tour was fantastisch! Een hele bijzondere ervaring, die je zeker niet mag missen tijdens je verblijf op Sicilië. Onze gids, Ami, stond op het afgesproken tijdstip klaar om ons op te halen met de Land Rover. Bij aankomst vertelde hij ons dat wij een privétour hadden. Tijdens de gehele rit vertelde hij gepassioneerd en deskundig over de omliggende dorpjes, de geschiedenis van de vulkaan en ook de persoonlijke verhalen liet hij niet achterwege. Ami was zo gastvrij om ons zijn jacks te lenen op de koudere stukken en had als afsluiting 2 heerlijke glazen witte wijn met bijpassende, lokale hapjes. Op de terugweg draaide hij wat Italiaanse muziek in de auto. Alles was tot in de puntjes georganiseerd. Een dikke aanrader! 🇮🇹👌🏻🌋

This is a must-do tour if you are in Catania! Our guide, Amilcare, was brilliant! So knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating & gave us an unforgettable experience seeing a magnificient sunset with Mt Etna in the background. Along with great wine from the region & some food! He is one of the best guides I have ever come across & I would definitely book this tour again! He took us to the Silvestri Craters along with other lava areas & it was incredible!

We had an amazing experience on the Etna Sunset Tour with Amil! He was incredibly knowledgeable, super friendly, and had such a great sense of humour that made the whole trip even more enjoyable. We learned so much about Mount Etna and the volcano’s history along the way, and every moment felt engaging and memorable. The sunset itself was absolutely breathtaking — we enjoyed every single second of it. The wine tasting and delicious local snacks were also a lovely touch and made the experience even more special. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Ami as your guide!
