Pferdeschutz-Hof bei Rom: Mitarbeit und Ausritt ins Umland

My wife and I had an amazing experience with Alessia and her herd of beautiful horses. We were taught about how to brush and care for the horses, we fed them, and we learned how to put on their saddles and reins. It was a very grounding and educational experience. We then went for a beautiful ride through the countryside of Rome. We got stories of the ancient Roman city that was on the same land in ancient times as well as how the landscape has changed since. The horses were all very gentle and friendly. We also got to say hello to other animals on the ranch such as cats and chickens. 12/10 highly recommend. Alessia and her human and animal family are all warm, welcoming and generous people.

I had such a great afternoon at the Horse Sanctuary! The staff were all incredibly kind, helpful, informative, and fun to be around. You can tell the horses are very well cared for, and the experience is great for both beginners and more experienced riders. The property itself is beautiful, with wildflowers scattered throughout, which made it feel like a perfect escape from the city. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing and unique experience with great people and amazing horses.

This is a must do if you’re living in Rome or visiting. I had the most amazing experience with my friends at the sanctuary. Our guide was amazing; she taught us so much about the history of the land, how to care for the horses, and gave us a bunch of recommendations for Italian wines and nightlife. Everyone there has so much passion for their horses and Italian culture, and I’ll definitely be doing this again

I went to the ranch with my boyfriend as a surprise birthday gift and it was amazing. Alessia is one of the coolest people you'll ever meet, and her love for the horses she takes care of and the history of the place is incredibly beautiful. You will immediately feel like you're part of the family and will be guided by Alessia in learning how to take care of your horse and introducing yourself before ever doing anything. You can really see how much she loves them and cares about all of their different behaviours and personalities. I have been a rider for a long time and she immediately trusted me which was lovely. My boyfriend rode for the first time and absolutely adored the experience so 1000000% recommend!!!

Amazing Italian horse sanctuary and must-visit if you are in Rome! The horses are well taken care of and beautiful landscape that’s close to the beach, with a rich history and knowledgeable staff. I had to reschedule my original booking because stuff came up on my end and they were very flexible, kind and easy to work with—and able to do another day for me instead! Highly recommend this horse sanctuary, it is beginner friendly and they even bought us coffees.

Me and my Fiancé spent the morning on the ranch and riding with Alessia for my birthday. We had an absolutely amazing day from start to finish! We learnt how to take care of the horses including grooming them down and feeding them. The experience was perfectly tailored for riders of any experience. As it was my fiancés first time riding, Alessia helped him mount the horse and get used to riding to ensure he felt safe and comfortable throughout the treck. We went on a scenic route of the Roman countryside where we learnt about the local history of the area up to the present day which was truly fascinating. It made the activity also a learning experience for us. As I had previous riding experience I was able to trot with my horse which was really fun & accommodating. Alessia was also so kind to take photos of us throughout the ride and at the end which we really appreciated. I 100% recommend for anyone to book this excursion as you will have so much fun!

Ganz toll.

Ho già fatto diverse passeggiate a cavallo in passato, ma nessuno mi aveva mai spiegato così bene come preparare e prendersi cura dell’animale. Consiglio assolutamente a tutti!
