Ab Neapel/Pompeji: Herculaneum, Vesuv und Pompeji Tagesausflug

On reflection probably too much to do in one day in the July heat. The food selection at lunchtime in Herculaneum was poor (vending machines with the majority that required cash). By the time we got to Pompeii (last stop) we’d had little food and the heat was starting to take its toll on all of us but glad we went. Limited involvement with a guide as only there to supervise on and off the bus, left to your on devices on sites. FYI - the audio guide in Pompeii needed plug in head phones or you had to hold the device near your ear and some didn’t work.

Gabriel was absolutely fabulous, couldn’t ask for a better tour guide. Constantly in touch sending pictures and map references so we wouldn’t get lost in our free time. He was very knowledgeable of the area and kept us entertained with funny stories. The perfect host!! Remi our driver was brilliant, navigating the winding mountain roads. Felt totally at ease and was able to enjoy the views. All in all I would give this day 10/10 and would definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you Gabriel and Remi.
