Rom an einem Tag: Kolosseum, Vatikanische Museen & Altstadt

This was great. Sev was extremely knowledgeable, and explained the many layers of the history of Rome in an entertaining and easy-to-understand way. Like being immersed in a cool documentary. The process was well-timed, very organized and seamless. Especial mention on how easy this tour and our guide made the admissions process to the Colosseum and Vatican museum.

We only had a couple of days in Rome and this was a perfect all day tour , historic Rome, Coliseum tour, Vatican City museum, Sinstine Chapel. Dave was a tour guide and he was just amazing. The knowledge and how he communicated kept the group engaged and in awe of the history of Rome! It was a long day and Lots of walking but soooo with it!

Our tour guide Fredricka, from Walks of Italy, was AWESOME. We were fortunate because we were the only ones who signed up for the tour. This was an added bonus because although it was a full day of walking, it was personalized. Which allowed a lot of flexibility in what we were able to see or skip. She kept the tour informative and fun with her upbeat personality. We couldn't have asked for a better tour guide.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience needs to be shared. The tour was not cheap, and I followed all instructions when booking, correctly providing both my name and my husband’s. The guide was kind, but his explanations were repetitive and overly long, which delayed the tour. In the end, he rushed and refused to take us to St. Peter’s Square from the Vatican Museums due to time—time lost by his own pacing. The worst part: the agency issued both tickets for the Colosseum under my name. Because of this, my husband was denied entry and missed a lifelong dream. This was a serious and unacceptable mistake. When we asked for help, we were told: “there is nothing we can do.” Overall, the tour could have been fine, but this failure ruined a major part of our trip to Rome. I cannot recommend this agency.

The tour guide was excellent and thoroughly informative throughout the entire day, organising everything very efficiently. A fabulous see everything tour of Rome. What could be improved? Prompt departure. Large group were late and tour waited for them give their traffic issues. Understandable. However no consideration then for other tour members who have connections the other end of the day. The tour clearly states we cannot wait for people past tour time. This left the tour company and guide in difficult situation. Let alone guests like ourselves who had taken costly transpiration to be on time only to wait for those running late.

Our guide Hilaria was wonderful! Knowledgeable, flexible, friendly, and so great at leading our group. She knew all the places like the back of her hand, and was so informative and able to answer any questions we had. She was entertaining and kept our 2 kids engaged and interested as well. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour to our friends and family. It’s a long day, but if you have limited time in Rome, it’s perfect!
