Abendessen bei Sonnenuntergang zwischen den Weinbergen – Kleine Gruppe ab Siena

We booked this tour as it said, small group.... but this was a bus load of people and we had to make several phone calls from the pick up point, no one turned up on time,the first part of the tour was good, the second part was completely a marketing gimmick, the food didn't seem fresh,it was was more like reheated food, it was very disappointing and felt overpriced and over crowded

The booking process was easy and when we had to change the number in our party at short notice, the organisers were very accommodating. The journey was very interesting with good views of the countryside and the tour of the winery was very informative: the young woman would showed us around and led tasting was very informative. The wine tasting before and during the meal was excellent and the wines and food were delicious. Anastasia, our tour leader, did a good job of keeping us informed. There was plenty to eat and drink, so the overall value was very good. It would have been helpful if we had been sent a text message to say the coach was going to be 5 minutes late. Overall, a brilliant evening out that I recommend.

Starting with not knowing who was going to pick me up Brought us to this place not sure exactly what to do for 45 minutes Then the winery was great learning about the wines however I was expecting an authentic meal. No pasta. My meal was all pork which I thought was kinda of cheap. No desert provided and no cappuccino. For the price I paid not worth it

οι συνολικά ήταν όμορφα η ξενάγηση και ξεναγός ήταν πάρα πολύ καλή μάθαμε αρκετά πράγματα για την παραγωγή και για το πώς πρέπει να πίνουμε σωστά το κρασί ώστε να βγάζει όλα του τα αρώματα. το μέρος με τους αμπελώνες είναι εκπληκτικό η θέα είναι μοναδική το τραπέζι στήθηκε ανάμεσα στους αμπελώνες όπως ακριβώς στη φωτογραφία ήταν πάρα πολύ όμορφα. δοκιμάσαμε τρία διαφορετικά κρασιά από ένα ποτήρι ο καθένας μόνο. το φαγητό ήταν αρκετά καλό αλλά από τα τέσσερα πιάτα φάγαμε μόνο τα δύο γιατί το δεύτερο και το επιδόρπιο δεν τρωγόταν. όλοι όσοι βρισκόντουσαν εκεί δεν φάγανε το δεύτερο και το τέταρτο όχι μόνο η δική μου παρέα. νομίζω πως στα 95 ευρώ το άτομο είναι υπερβολή γιατί ούτε άφθονο κρασί ήπιαμε ούτε φάγαμε πολύ. 45 ευρώ Θα ήταν το πιο σωστό. πάρα πολύ ωραία εμπειρία ωστόσο

So disappointing. This was the experience I was looking forward to most in Italy. Pros: setting us idealic. You really do have dinner in the vineyards and the winery is charming. The beginning of the tour was nice. Guide gave a beautiful history of the area and family. I was in love with the experience at that point. Negatives: bus was 20 minutes late because it was picking up other people in another city, dinner started really late because we were waiting on vans from other cities. Food was just ok. No description of the wines or food we were eating at a wine dinner. Some people in the front were given more glasses than the back of the table. The entire thing was managed a bit sloppy. I wanted to love this and buy a lot of wine. It ended at 11:30 and at that point sitting on wooden picnic tables without getting to drink more than a glass and a half of wine was getting old. The scenery was stunning but they sort of lost us all when it came down to the details.

Really enjoyed this experience. For Italy its a bit pricey but actually for Tuscany the price is somehow fair/even cheap, as the region is a bit more than other regions. The main negative was it was a little rushed. They could take longer and slow down the experience. Personally I would have also liked to have heard about the wine, grapes, vineyard, the history, the speciality etc. It was very much a lot of drinking and some food. But a brief explanation of history and grapes would have been cool.
