Our guide Domenico was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and made sure to custom the tour for what we wanted to see. He spoiled us with authentic Sicilian cannolis, arancina, and ice granita. He explained so much of the history of Ortigia and Noto that I feel I can explain it so well. Took the time to make us see the authentic areas that a regular tour would not be possible.we were very happy for have chosen this tour and meeting Domenico. An Unforgettable Private Tour with the Sicilian Gentleman! My wife and I had the most wonderful private tour of Syracuse, Ortigia Island, and Noto with Domenic (The Sicilian Gentleman). He was ever so knowledgeable, exceptionally helpful, and perfectly tailored everything to our interests and pace. It felt like exploring Sicily with a charming local friend. In Ortigia, we strolled the beautiful Baroque streets, visited the Cathedral, Temple of Apollo, and Fonte Aretusa. Domenic shared fascinating stories and captured amazing photos for us. Noto’s golden Baroque architecture at sunset was pure romance — breathtaking from the bell tower! The local food surprises (cannoli, arancini, granita, and wine) were highlights too. Domenic’s recommendations were spot-on. This tour was intimate, flexible, and unforgettable — far better than any group tour. Highly recommend booking with Domenic!

If I could give the tour 10 stars I would. Domenic was an amazing guide. He completely caters the tour to you. He asks what you are interested in and adjusts the agenda accordingly. His knowledge of the area and the stories he told really added to the experience. The sites were amazing. The additional surprises that Domenic included really made the day extra special.
