Siena: Bio-Weingut-Tour und Weinverkostung

We had an absolutely amazing experience at this winery! Lorenzo is a fantastic guide and so knowledgeable about the wine making process in Tuscany. The wines and the food paired with the wines were beyond delicious! The scenery is stunning and we had such a lovely time with the other guests on the tour! Put this at the top of your list if you’re anywhere near Siena!

This is the second time I have been to La Lastra and I’m so glad I came back. I learnt something new, the team catered for my Mum’s dietary requirements due to her allergies, and Gian Luigi’s tour around the estate was excellent. As before, I was greatly impressed with all aspects of the tour, it was like coming home. La Lastra is passionate about what they do and that translates into their tour, how they treated us, and most importantly, their wine.

What a wonderful wine tasting experience! The selection of wines was carefully curated, and each tasting was explained with great passion and knowledge. The atmosphere was warm and very enjoyable throughout the event. I especially loved discovering new flavors and learning more about the stories behind each wine. Thank you for such a memorable and enjoyable evening — I would definitely love to join again!

It was good to see how a small vineyard recognises and adapts to challenges of climate change on a sunny afternoon in the beautifully located La Lastra. The guide Lorenzo was knowledgeable and full of fun. The biodynamic wines were good and the pours were generous, paired with freshly prepared food. What more could you want from a 2 to 3 hour trip?

It was an amazing experience. 2nd wine tasting in Italy, the best so far! The moment you arrive, you’re greeted with stunning views and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. But the real highlight here is the food and wine. The meals are made with the freshest local ingredients, and every dish feels like a celebration of Tuscan cuisine. Each course was perfectly paired with their exquisite wines, produced right on the estate. The wine tasting experience is a must-do—rich, flavorful, and thoughtfully curated, giving you a real taste of the region’s terroir. Whether you’re a seasoned wine connoisseur or just a casual enthusiast, you’ll find something to fall in love with. The attention to detail in both food and wine makes this agriturismo stand out. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to enjoy an authentic Tuscan experience.
