Rom: 8-stündige VIP-Privat-Landausflug mit Abholung vom Kreuzfahrtpier

Misleading tour! They said that the coliseum skip the line was included, it wasn’t! The coliseum was the reason we booked this tour! After wasting one hour and a half on a 95 degree weather we found out that we didn’t have tickets to go inside the coliseum! Stay away from this company, they lied to us saying they refunded some of our money to a credit card that wasn’t even mine! I’m disputing the charge on my credit card, I want my money back!

The tour was great and the guide, Emmanuel, was also very good. The communication before the tour wasn’t great as I tried to email the company a couple times to ask if we could choose what sites to visit and never received a response. Also we bought the tour under the impression we’d go inside the coliseum, also with a fast pass included. However the guide said he thought that would take too long and it would be better to see more things and to skip the inside so instead we only went to the outside. It ended up being fine since we saw a lot and it was a good day but my husband and son were a little disappointed we didn’t go inside when that’s why we chose this particular tour.

We opted for a private tour since I have had difficult experiences in Rome previously such as being robbed. Additionally, I am a single mother, traveling with my 3 daughters, so I wanted to be safe and ensure we could see our bucket items during our shore time. Although I booked many months in advance, paying a signifgant amount of money for 4 people, I never heard from the operator despite mulitple emails, texts via What's App, as well as communicated through the booking agency. Which meant, I had no idea what time we would be picked up until the day of the tour when I was finally told 0830. Due to the utter lack of communication, I booked a Basilica tour at 1100 as this was a priority for us and had my kids fed and dressed by 0700 and the driver arrived at 0830. So we "lost 1.5 hours of shore time in Rome. The driver was very polite, nicely dressed and the van was clean. Unfortunately, he spoke little English and I speak even less Italian but we made it work with Google Translate.

Good except since the drivers company only received our invoice the morning of our guide, they then were u able to include the colosseum tour which is sold out way In advance, which is why is why I booked 6mos in advance! We were disappointed with that and I have requested a refund for that portion. Our guide was phenomenal and more than made up for the error, I am hopeful the company does the right thing and compensates our group.

Terrible. We payed for a colosseum tour that we never received. We understand that the government closed it with short notice but the agency never became aware of it (even when our whole cruise did). They driver And guide both said the agency had our tour mixed up, we didn’t get an English / Spanish guide as requested and confirmed by the agency so the language barrier was terrible during 9 hours that our “tour” lasted. They offered tickets to the Vatican museum to compensate for the Colosseum tickets and then they took us there, had us lose 1 more hour and at the end they didn’t have the promised tickets either. Poor driver has to play aún audio guide for us and drove us around the city the best he could, but he was not a guide and the whole tour was a mess. The agency has not yet refunded our tickets or our tour money. Hopefully they will be serious at least about this.
