Tony is a fabulous guide! He is so passionate about his job, and it really made for a fabulous tour. We were a group of 8, and he was awesome from start to finish. We had a great full-day experience exploring Etna, enjoying a wine tasting and visiting the Alcantara Canyon. Our driver was also our guide and shared lots of interesting information throughout the day, especially during our time on Etna. The volcano was active during our visit, with some steam and ash, which made the experience even more interesting. We walked around the volcanic landscape, saw areas shaped by previous lava flows and had plenty of time to explore and take photos. Trekking shoes and jackets were provided, which was very helpful. Afterwards, we stopped for lunch and a wine tasting. Both the food and the wine were really good and it was a lovely, relaxing part of the day. We finished the tour at the Alcantara Canyon, which was absolutely beautiful. The water was incredibly cold, but the scenery and the canyon itself were spectacular and definitely worth experiencing. We really enjoyed this tour! Our guide was lovely, and very knowledgeable about Mt Etna. The winery lunch and tasting was absolutely delicious! I think you could do Etna by yourself but the added historical context and the included lunch make this a good value!

We absolutely loved the Full Day Mt. Etna & Alcantara experience. Mt. Etna was amazing; our guide Daniele was “ awesome”. He was polite; very knowledgeable and very funny. We had a great group of 8 people (perfect group size). Daniele made the day interesting & fun. It was a 10/10 experience- I would highly recommend this excursion and ask for Daniele as your tour guide!!!!!

Travelling in a group of seven, we had an amazing full day tour to Mt Etna and Alcantra gorge with Roberto S. Our entire group agreed the day, which also included lunch, was fantastic and it was made all the more special due to Roberto's knowledge of geology, culture and history. He was friendly, informative and funny, the perfect guide for our group and this kind of tour. We all had a great day.

He explained so much more than just Mount Etna - we also learned about the local culture, food and way of life, which made the experience feel really special. Die Aktivität war wirklich unfassbar toll!! Unser Guide, Daniele, war sehr sehr nett & hat sich auch an unsere Altersklasse angepasst, was für uns so toll war. Wir haben sehr viele interessante Sachen gesehen und sind mit der Tour sehr zufrieden. Auch das Mittagessen war sehr lecker & wurden wir extrem verwöhnt :) würden auf alle fälle noch eine tour buchen & es an andere weiterempfehlen!!

van de eerste tot de laatste minuut genoten van de excursie, De gewldig goefe en deskundige gids Toni heeft ons alles verteld over de Etna en de Alkantarakloof. hij heeft daarnaast ook veel wetenswaardighedenover het eiland en de daar bij bohorende geschiedenis verteld. De lunch en proeverij was heel goed verzorgd. Dank aan de gids Toni voor de geweldige dag.

We had a fabulous day with Diego as our guide. We ended up being the only family on our tour as the other group canceled. Diego was so knowledgeable about the Volcano and also the plant and animal life. He answered questions and taught us so much. We hiked to several craters and saw the gray smoke from the erupting crater. Lunch at the winery was nice. We also did another quick stop to explore before the gorge. Walking in the water was a little rough without water shoes (can’t wear flip flops) but it was fun and a great experience. Highly recommend! We saw large groups hiking and were glad we had chosen a small group. We were able to keep a quick pace and saw much morel.
