Siena: Stadtführung mit Dombesichtigung auf Englisch

We as a group did 2 similar tours in other cities before this one n were happy with our tours. We were however disappointed this time. First, the earphones were so muffled that we could barely understand half of what the guide said. It didn’t help that the guide didn’t hold any sort of “flag” when she led us through the crowded streets so it made it difficult for us to follow her. Also, at the entry of the Duomo, the guide did not ensure that all of us made through the Duomo’s gentry before continuing the tour. We had to beg with duomo staff to let one of us in to get her come back to the entry point to verify that we were part of her group n let us through. The guide didn’t apologize for the oversight.

We really appreciated our guides knowledge and enthusiasm. Getting fast entry tickets into the Duomo is a big plus. Unfortunately our headset systems did not work that morning (for the whole group), so we all had to make an extra effort to try and stay close to our guide to hear her explanations. Good way to get an introduction and overview of Siena.
