   Galleria dell'Accademia

   1Std. 15Min.

Tour the gallery with a guide and learn things about the paintings that you may otherwise have missed. Plus, choose from several departure times to suit your schedule. Whether you’ve chosen a morning or afternoon time slot, your tour begins around the corner from the Accademia Gallery, where you’ll pick up your timed entry tickets and meet your guide. Inside, it houses the wealthiest collection of Michelangelo’s works, including seven in total, among which the famous David stands out, and the most extensive collection of medieval panel paintings with a gold background worldwide. Once inside the gallery, you’ll be led through various halls, from paintings to musical instruments. Listen to anecdotes about the works on display. The star here is, of course, Michelangelo’s David. You’ll see the iconic sculpture and other highlights in just one hour.
