The activity was aimed at first timers at mosaic, it was fine and the instructor was lovely but it was less than I was expecting. I was hopeful for something beyond the basics which is not what this was. The item was pre drawn on a piece of wood, you literally just had to glue (paint by numbers style) the pre drawn pattern with pre cut squares of rough marble. The finished article was was going to be far too heavy for my suitcase so the instructor allowed me to change to a lighter material and design to suit. I made a very pretty lighter weight piece in coloured glass, instruction was excellent.
