Izabella was lovely! She kindly picked us up from our hotel and returned us back at the end of the day (we gave her money for her petrol - worth it!) which we really appreciated and then we drove to Mount Etna and along the way she gave us information about what we were going to see and about the villages we passed through. We stopped at a cave created from lava flow and she had good equipment to ensure our safety whilst walking through it. We enjoyed the coolness of the cave compared to the outside temperature and the history of the monks who used to sell ice created from the low temperatures of the cave before fridges. As it was very windy and low vis on Etna Izabella suggested an alternative route to the one planned which worked out really well. She also took into consideration my slight fear of heights and gave me confidence that she would guide me through fine whilst still experiencing and enjoying Mount Etna. We really had a wonderful day and appreciated Isabella’s knowledge
