Domenic really made my son and I feel welcomed. With his knowledge of the area Domenic showed us spots that you would not go unless you were a local. He introduced us to the local vendors and restaurants owners who shared the food they were selling. Domenic went above and beyond to make us Aussies with Italian heritage, feel right at home. Domenic is a terrific guide. He proactively communicated leading up to the tour which made setting up the day and meeting up easy. His passion for Sicily and knowledge of history also shone through in his delivery of information on the various sights we saw. Beautiful Ortigia sites and that were custom tailored to our interests. Lots of great information shared by our Sicilian Gentleman host. I don't quite have the words to say what an great day we had on this tour. Dominic, the Sicilian Gentleman, is amazing. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about the areas of the tour - the history, culture, architecture, people, food. And genuinely interested in the people on his tour. He is informative and detailed without being too much, very personal and fun. We saw another area of Sicily which we hadn't known much about, which was great. Practical stuff - local pickup, very comfortable car, just us in the tour so very individual, there is some food stops on the tour and Dominic is very careful re allergies etc (I'm allergic to pistachios which can be awkward in Sicily, so this was really good for me!). It is a long day with a fair amount of walking but so very much worth it. Absolutely recommend

Domenico est un guide vraiment super! Il nous a fait passer une excellente journée en nous montrant toute l’architecture et les monuments historiques des deux villes mais aussi, les côtés réels de la vie dans ces villes. Il sort des sentiers battus en nous donnant une multitude d’informations toutes plus interessantes et pertinentes les unes que les autres. We absolutely LOVED our tour in Ortigia and Noto. Domenic welcomed us warmly and we immediately felt at ease. We also really appreciated his clear communication before and during the trip. Thanks to Dominic we discovered so much more about the local life in each city than we would have in a standard tour. Domenic made the trip really personal and told us so many stories about the eastern part of Sicily. He was able to answer every question we had. He event sent us a list of places in Catania to visit / eat at after we had already finished the tour. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would recommend this trip to everyone. Amazing experience and value for money!Exceeded our expectations by far! We all had the most amazing day and can say this was one of our top experiences in Italy! Domenic is so lovely and so knowledgeable about everything. We all got along great and he honestly felt like family, I know my dad loved chatting with Domenic as he was originally from Sicily and it just felt like home to him. My 15 year old daughter also had the best time and found everything so interesting and she learnt so much. If you are in doubt about booking this, don’t hesitate and book now you won’t regret it! Vi brukar ofta resa med guide, men den här upplevelsen var helt klart den bästa vi haft på länge! Hans sätt att berätta gjorde varje plats levande, och vi fick höra så många fascinerande och charmiga historier längs vägen. Turen till Syracuse, Ortigia och Noto var magisk från början till slut. Vi fick dessutom njuta av fantastisk siciliansk mat – färska cannoli, otroligt goda smörgåsar och arancini som var helt underbara. Det som verkligen gjorde turen unik var alla personliga tips vi fick om dolda pärlor och avskilda platser – sådant man aldrig hade upptäckt själv. Vi kan varmt rekommendera denna upplevelse till alla som vill uppleva Sicilien på ett mer genuint, personligt och minnesvärt sätt!

Five stars for Domenic, the Sicilian Gentleman, is not enough. Domenic is prompt, personable, and an amazing well of knowledge...of ancient and contemporary events! His stories are entertaining and he took us, the Regatta, to many hidden and out-of-the way spots in Syracuse, Ortigia, and Noto. We dined on amazing food: fresh cannoli, scrumptious sandwiches, and finishing in Noto with a variety of arancini! If you are looking for a personal guide to see the sights in eastern Sicily, you cannot go wrong with Domenic, highly recommended for a very magical adventure.

Our guide, Domenic gave a very passionate and informative review of Syracuse, Ortigia and Noto. He was very knowledgeable and shared many stories and local insights. He was also very accommodating and catered for our every need,. I have a daughter with a disability so it can be challenging to book tours but Domenic had a solution for everything and made the day very inclusive and accommodating including a few pleasant surprises. The cities visited were amazing and I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see these places and enjoy the local history and culture. 5⭐️
