We had an absolutely fantastic experience on the Rome: Nemi, Gandolfo & Castel Romano Photo and Shopping Tour. The highlight of the entire trip was our driver, who was truly exceptional. From the very beginning, his communication was excellent. He stayed in touch with us throughout, making it very easy to coordinate our pickup. Our flight was delayed, but despite the inconvenience, he waited for us patiently without any complaints. His professionalism and understanding immediately put us at ease. He was also extremely punctual and organized. Throughout the tour, he was friendly, courteous, and ensured we were comfortable at every stop. He shared helpful information about the places we visited and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful scenery, take photos, and shop without feeling rushed. This was actually my favorite booking out of all the tours I booked during our Rome vacation. Loved that it was private and allowed us to explore Nemi and Castel Gandolfo and of course the outlets at our own pace . Mario was such a pleasant and wonderful guide . He was very accommodating and even recommended places to eat at or buy our souvenirs from. This is well worth the money spent on this tour and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to get out of the hustle and bustle of Rome and explore the wonderful and very scenic towns of Nemi and Castel Gandolfo.

If you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Rome for a day, you absolutely must book this tour! My experience on the Nemi, Castel Gandolfo & Castel Romano tour was nothing short of awesome from start to finish. First off, our driver and guide was fantastic. Not only was the driving smooth and comfortable, but they were also incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure we felt well taken care of. The level of service throughout the entire day was top-notch and completely seamless. The itinerary itself is beautiful. The nature and landscapes are breathtaking—Castel Gandolfo and Nemi offer some of the most stunning lakeside views you will ever see. It was so refreshing to walk around, take in the fresh air, and enjoy the gorgeous Italian scenery. To top it all off, the shopping stop at Castel Romano was the perfect way to wrap up the day and snag some great finds before heading back. Stunning nature, great shopping, and stellar service.

Coming all the way from Australia, we weren't sure what to expect from the Nemi, Castel Gandolfo and Shopping tour, but it was absolutely incredible! The villages were stunning and felt like a fairytale. Our driver and his colleague were so friendly and helpful, making the whole day easy and enjoyable. To top it off, the shopping at the end was brilliant—we walked away with some awesome finds and great discounts. A must-do if you’re visiting the area!

If you are looking for a great day trip, this is it. Fiko and Mauro are top-tier guides—very professional and friendly. The views in Nemi and Castel Gandolfo are beautiful, but the shopping at the outlet was the real surprise; so many discounts on high-end brands that you won't find in central Rome. Another 5-star experience with Retour! After loving their Saturnia tour, we took their advice and booked this one—it was excellent from start to finish. Nemi and Castel Gandolfo are absolutely stunning, and you haven’t lived until you’ve tried the local strawberries there. The shopping at Castel Romano was the perfect finale; we found luxury brands at much better prices than in central Rome. Highly recommend this agency if you want a seamless and high-quality day trip!

This was an incredible day trip from Rome! We loved the balance between the charming, historic villages and the shopping experience. Nemi was absolutely picturesque with its lake views, and Castel Gandolfo felt so peaceful and elegant. The photo opportunities were endless. Finishing the day with some shopping at the Castel Romano Outlet was the perfect cherry on top. Highly recommended for anyone looking to escape the city bustle!
