Our truffle hunting experience near Alberobello was unforgettable and an absolute must-do in Puglia. Gaetano was charming, knowledgeable and incredibly welcoming. Before the hunt, he treated us to an extraordinary woodland feast featuring focaccia, courgette and burrata with truffle paste, boiled eggs with truffle, truffle crisps, fresh spaghetti topped with grated truffle, a chicken dish and the delicious local dessert Sise delle Monache. The food just kept coming, accompanied by wine, water, coffee and limoncello. Afterwards, we headed into the woods with Gaetano and his wonderful dogs, Zara, Luna and Camilla. Watching them work together was fascinating. For me, this experience is Puglia's equivalent of taking a gondola ride in Venice. Truly unforgettable.

Loved every minute of this. Great to see the truffle dogs and its owner working together to provide a special experience. It was a small walk in the woods to see how the dogs worked, they found truffles in no time! Enjoyable to watch and experience. When we got back to base, we had a great tasting lunch, it tasted great and had a lot of variety with truffled infused, just as promised, it felt like a great wholesome experience, from the tour guide to the truffle dogs. This was enjoyable. Thank you!
