Ganztägige Pompeji-Tour mit Weinprobe ab Sorrent

Disappointed in the tour. Our guide was lovely, but she skipped some of the most famous sites like the casts and the brothel. When asked if we could go see the casts, she insisted we should trust her and we would we see them in the museum. We did see a few there, but honestly it does not compare to seeing them in the real settings. I had to go back later that week just to feel like I really experienced it. I was also disappointed that we moved quite slowly at first, spending a lot of time at each site, and then she rushed us through the second half. It was stressful and I felt like I couldn’t enjoy it. Time management is an important skill for a guide, and letting your guests feel so rushed isn’t great. Transportation was great, the wine tasting was great (though they try to get you drunk and then pressure you to purchase wine), and the guide was really nice.

This tour was fantastic from start to end. Our guide, Laura, was excellent at providing a lot of information and context when touring pompeii and kept the tour interesting and fun. The wine tasting was then the perfect second stop and both the wine and food were amazing. We would definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Sorrento!

My partner and I did this trip yesterday and it was amazing from start to finish! We were a small group of 11 and our guide (a lady I can’t remember her name) talked us through the history on Pompeii on the transfer and was honest about how busy it would be and the areas we would be going to see due to the size which was nice! She was very knowledgable and explained everything in good detail. Afterwards we went to the winery in Pompeii, we had a short tour of the grounds finding out the history from a female guide, we then sat for our 3 course meal and wine tasting which was great - each wine was explained to us and which food to pair it with. Our expert was a male staff member who was great, he kept our drinks topped up based on our preference! Would highly recommend this tour, it’s a great day out!

*I write this review with the caveat that we have been crazy fortunate on our trip thus far and only had amazing tour guides!* The pick-up was easy and bus was on time. Seamless skip-the-line entry to Pompeii, but our tour guide was lacking - we found ourselves drifting away from the group to eavesdrop on other tour guides as they were providing more detail on the sights than our own. The wine tasting and lunch were fun and amazing! For the cost, it was worth it - but don’t buy if you’re looking for a kick-ass tour of Pompeii.

Tour content was ok, a bit repetitive. I take issue with Guide left half the group at one of the sites when it started to get crowded but didn’t notify anyone she just left. I hung back waited for my daughter and wife who got caught up in the crowd. Only way we reunited them and others with the group was by me sending people In the direction of our guide because I watched where she went because she was out of microphone range. Was disappointed when my wife and daughter asked to use the facilities before leaving the park and were told there wasn’t time for that and it was only 10 min to the vineyard. It was a 10 min walk to the bus and then 10 minutes to vineyard. Once there they had ask for the facilities and she asked them to wait it was only 10 minutes. They said they needed to go now. she apologized to others for the inconvenience of having to wait on them. Ridiculous We also had a guest that had mobility issues who fell trying to keep up with her fast pace. Probably needs training

I liked best the wine tasting part. Tour guide was very sweet, but especially if it is not raining she must have a small flag not an opened umbrella while walking the streets of Pompeii. The part near the Arcades, were there are the plastered dead persons was not part of the tour, that is a pity because in my opinion that is one of the best attractions in Pompeii.
