We had a great private tour with our fabulous guide Raphaele, he was very professional and knowledgable and took us to some lesser touristy parts of Etna and gave us interesting facts. The stop off at Gambino winery was a good addition to end the tour. Would recommend! We were picked up and dropped back to our apartment in Taormina which was perfect as we didn’t hire a car.

Our guide, Massimo was outstanding! He spoke great English and taught us a lot about the land, its surroundings, and history along the drive. We very much enjoyed sampling the local honeys and liquors in a quaint town at the foot of Mt Etna, the drive up the mountain to view Mt Etna and some of the areas where eruptions have occurred. The winery visit was a wonderful cap to the day! We were able to sample 4 different Etna wines and were presented with a gorgeous cheese and grazing board. Would highly recommend this tour -- and be sure to wear sneakers!

The activity was great. It was nice to have one trip where you could explore the volcano and do some wine tasting. It was an outing that worked for my teenagers as well as my husband and I and my mother-in-law. You shouldn't expect a wine experience like Napa, it's more casual but very interesting and again, it was great to get two excursions out of one. It was a bit pricey when we purchased our tickets.

We had Antonio as our guide for the day. He picked us up promptly at our hotel. We stopped for a honey/wine tasting on the way to Mt Etna. We arrived on Mt Etna in the snow. We walked around and took in the amazing views in the snow and in the lava caves! Then stopped at a local winery for a meal and wine tasting! The his was one of a kind tour and guide!!

Bruno holte uns in unserem Hotel in Taormina ab. Auf der Fahrt sprachen wir über sehr unterschiedliche Themen. Bruno äusserte sehr offen seine persönliche Meinunug und Ansichten. Durch Bruno sahen wir Orte, die wir selbst nicht gefunden oder aufgesucht hätten (zB Honig Produktion, Weingut). Bruno bietet neben der regulären Tour auch Wanderungen sowie Mountainbike als auch Höhlentouren an.
