I dragged my boyfriend here and he was skeptical (thought it’d be touristy and overpriced). But wow, he LOVED it. The pilot was hilarious, kept making volcano puns, and gave us random facts about lava flows. Could even spot the coast from the air. The ground crew offered us espresso before and after. Best date ever.

Not bad but not mindblown either. Booked for 11am, ended up waiting 40 mins because of "unexpected maintenance" (their words). Views were great, especially the smoky crater, but the delay kinda soured it. Would say it’s worth it if you’ve got patience.

We surprised our parents for their anniversary with this heli tour. They’ve never done anything like this before. The staff was sooo patient with my mom’s 1000 questions. Flight up was smooth, saw little puffs of steam and rivers of black rock. Pilot pointed out old lava trails from past eruptions. Parents are still talking about it!

Just wow. My wife and I have done some cool stuff on trips, but this was EPIC. Marcello (our pilot) has a real gift for storytelling, and you can tell he loves flying. Weather cooperated (luckily), so the views were crystal clear. Would def do again if we come back to Sicily.

The experience itself is incredible, but got a bit dizzy mid-flight. Heads up if you get motion sickness—maybe eat light before. Otherwise, the volcano is crazy beautiful from above. The crew gave us volcano-shaped cookies after, which was a fun touch.

My partner and I did this for our honeymoon. Not cheap but SO worth it. Felt like we were in a movie, swooping around craters and seeing smoke rise up (thought it’d smell like sulfur but it didn’t). Super smooth ride. Thanks again to Olga for making us feel special!

Helicopter tour was a blast—once we finally got up. Bit of a wait due to busy day, but they kept us updated. The pilot gave lots of neat info (found out Etna’s erupted more than 100 times!). Felt a little rushed landing, but still totally recommend.

Came with my teenage son (he’s obsessed with volcanoes) and he hasn’t stopped smiling since. The staff let him sit up front, which made his year. Views are out of this world. Would give 6 stars if I could.

Flight was cool but crowded at the base. Felt a bit like an assembly line at check-in. Wish we could have spent more time in the air. Still, the volcano is impressive and the pilot’s stories were interesting.

If you’re on the fence, just DO IT. I’m not big on tours but this was something else. Saw the whole side of Etna glimmering in the sun and vineyards below. The pilot even played some Italian music in our headsets for the ride back. Pure magic.

Went solo since my friends chickened out. Staff were welcoming, didn’t make me feel awkward. Quick safety talk, then up we went. Can’t believe how close we got to the craters. Only minus: tricky to get to the heliport without a car.

Family trip—me, hubby, 2 kids (ages 9 & 12). Both kids were buzzing with excitement, and the pilot answered their million questions. Highlights: flying over the dark lava fields, spotting tiny villages. Heads up: can’t take pics inside the helicopter, but you can shoot all you want out the window.

Did this for a proposal (she said yes!!). Crew helped with the surprise, even snuck in a bottle of prosecco for us after. Flying over Etna was like nothing else. Major thanks to everyone for making it special.

Amazing views, but the ride was bumpier than I expected. Felt safe with the pilot, though. Learned a lot about Etna’s history. Don’t skip the pre-flight espresso at the lounge, it’s strong.

Hands down one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. Arrived early, got to watch the helicopters land and take off. Staff knew their stuff, and the flight was smooth. Took a million pics—can’t wait to show my friends.

Honestly, wasn’t for me. Felt rushed, didn’t love the headset (scratchy sound). My partner enjoyed it though. Pretty views, but prob wouldn’t do again.

Booked as a birthday treat for my dad. He was like a kid again! The pilot chatted with everyone, answered all our questions. Only thing, the weather was a bit cloudy so views weren’t as clear as we hoped, but still a fantastic experience.
