Great. Easy to use, even at 4 a.m. There should be maps of the vaporetto routes available at the stations. Very helpful for us tourists.

The vaperettos are on occasions very full. We bought a 2 day (48 hour) pass, which worked on the first day but not on the return journey on the second. Once you download the pnr code from the website you then have to collect the tickets from a machine. To understand how to print the tickets I watched a video on YouTube. Very easy

Every single ride went smoothly, even though we had a dog with us—and he was welcome everywhere. Thank you for that!

The process for activating the 7-day ticket needs to be explained more clearly online in advance. At the ticket machine, it took a while to find the relevant information and follow the instructions. Otherwise, it’s very convenient and highly recommended.

Venice is wonderful and the ACTV Water bus service is highly recommended. Access to the all sites on the island is amazing.

A city with no car noise, no bicycles, no scooters... where everything can be done on foot or by boat, what a delight! The audioguide is very well done and gives interesting information about Venice, which can be consulted long after your stay. Please note: it's important to download the official Vapporetto "CheBateo?" app to keep up to date with boat timetables and directions, but above all to be aware of any changes that may occur: cancellation of a line on a certain day in the event of an event, and above all any strikes that may have occurred on the last day!
