We loved this tour! The family was very nice, and the food and wines were great. So many good memories! We were especially appreciative of Claire’s help in changing our tour date. Our flight was delayed by 36 hours and we were going to miss our tour. Claire worked with us to get us in on another date that was not showing as available, and made adjustments to the schedule because the train we were supposed to catch was sold out. She definitely went over and above to help us!

I really enjoyed myself at this wine tasting tour. Our tour leader Jasmine reached out before the tour to confirm the meeting point and guided us to the train platform. When we arrived at Voghera, Alex and his sister were there to meet us to take us to the vineyard. We tasted eight different wines and had a lunch whipped up by Alex’s mother. There were 5 of us in the group and we all enjoyed each other’s company. A fantastic way to spend the day!

Probably the most authentic Italian experience you will book! Friendly and knowledgeable guides (one was the winemaker himself!), lovely wines of all varieties. Nonna’s lunch was 🤌 - I only wish we had asked to meet her! Don’t worry about the separate train ticket purchase. It was very easy (they give you the train/time you need to book) both there and back. We arrived as strangers and left as friends (+ with a bottle of wine!). Thank you for the best day!

Absolutely the best experience we had during our trip to Lombardy! ❤️ Our tour to the Pavia countryside was simply unforgettable. Claire was an amazing guide — so friendly, knowledgeable and easy to understand. She showed us around and shared so many interesting things. A huge thank you to Alex and his wonderful family for welcoming us to their beautiful winery. 🍷 The wine was some of the best I’ve ever tasted! We enjoyed delicious wines and local snacks on the terrace, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, while talking, laughing and relaxing. The small group made it feel like a private tour, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere. Everything was perfectly organized. This is an experience I will remember for life! Such a great day! Highly recommend. We were met by the Lovely guides, Claire and Andrea’ and taken on a journey to a very authentic family winery in beautiful Oltrepo. We were warmly greeted, and had a beautiful afternoon on the family terrace, enjoying multiple plates of home made food and matching wines with plenty of history about wine makers and their families from this region. Loved it! Thank you to the wonderful guides, the group and the family for having us at their home.

Alex was absolutely phenomenal. The whole day from start to finish as just perfect. Even with the bridge closed, getting there was explained perfectly, and we got picked up by Alex at Pavia train station and returned there as and when we wanted, nothing was an issue. The vineyard and surrounding areas are just stunning, The wine, amazing and devastated we couldn't bring any back with us. The food, to die for and more than enough to fill us right up. An incredible day and by far the best thing we done while visiting Milan. We have, and will continue to tell everyone how great this day was.

I can’t say in enough words how incredible this tour was. The hosts and travel team gave an unmatched level of hospitality. The communication set a new bar. I never felt lost and always felt taken care of. Even in a group with international strangers, we were all conversing like old friends by the time we had to leave. Oh and the WINE!! White, red, sparkling, cold, room temperature- anything. Every single glass was a drop of heaven.

Claire our host was excellent. The tour was well organized and the winery and the people you meet there were fantastic. The wine is excellent as I enjoyed white wines which is rare as I am a red wine person. the red wines were excellent. this was our best winery visit we ever did. highly recommended. they make sure you get on the right trains both ways and are very friendly. the appetizers were fantastic and prepared by the mother of the winery owner Alex. we had an excellent time. highly recommended.

η συγκεκριμένη εκδρομή ηταν μια απίστευτη εμπειρία. ξεναγήθηκαμε στην περιοχή στον τοπικό συναιτερισμο όπου δοκιμάσαμε απο τα κρασιά τους κι έπειτα μας υποδέχθηκε ο κος ferrari στον αμπελώνα και το κτήμα του. μας δέχτηκε με μεγάλη χαρά και μας ξεναγησε. δοκιμάσαμε απο τα κρασια του και φάγαμε διαφορά τοπικά εδέσματα. η ξεναγοε μας δε , ηταν ενας απίστευτος ανθρωπος , με χιούμορ, καλή διάθεσή και μας κατατοπισε πληρως σε όλα αλλα και στην ιστορία του τόπου και των κρασιών. ηταν φανταστικά!
