Von Rom nach Herculaneum: Schnellzug und Führung

The tour was great. Very interesting. Our guide Danilo was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable and engaging. He made sure to check in on people as our tour was on a day with 37 degree c temperature. The instructions (WhatsApp) and support of the tour office (meeting guide at station) was helpful. The only downside was that we booked an early tour for 7:30am to avoid the heat later in the day as we were traveling with children however our tour was shifted to the afternoon. Overall we would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone interested. It was an absolute highlight of our trip to Rome.

Great tour - only 6 people! The train trip to Heraculean went well and we were met at rome, and Napoli station by a representative from the tour group which was great. The tour was amazing. The only issue was returning from Napoli station as the train was quite late and there was confusion with our carriage number. Otherwise it was well worth the cost.

The tour was great. The person who was tasked with meeting us at the Naples train station was 30 minutes late without explanation. That meant we got to Herculaneum 30 minutes late. If she had told us she was going to be 30 minutes late, we would have used the bathroom in the train station. Instead, we all had to use the bathroom when we arrived in Herculaneum. That took another 30 minutes because the lines were long.

Getting there was too hard we were told to meet at a street address not the info desk we found the info desk for In-Station only by accident In future say Meet at the InStation desk in that street address and all would have been good. Once we found the staff they we very helpful At Ercolano there are 2 arches one at the station and a larger one at the site please make sure you say go to the large white arch through the town then enter the site to the ticket box Rest great

The tour itself was excellent. Danilo our guide was knowledgeable and helpful. Our group comprised of a Spanish-speaking couple and myself, speaking English. Unfortunately the wife did not speak English, so she got left out of the conversation sometimes unless her husband translated for her. This made it difficult for them to enjoy the tour as much as I did. There was some confusion as to where to meet the tour guide when we arrived onsite. But the train travel and transfers was well done.
