Sorrento: Vesuv- und Pompeji-Tour mit Transfers – Kleine Gruppe

We had a good amount of time to walk up and down Vesuvius, we were then told we were going somewhere for food before we arrived at Pompei. We ended up stopping at a shopping centre where the best option was a McDonalds. We then drove to Pompei where there were multiple restaurants/cafes that would have been better to stop at rather than a shopping centre. The guide we had in Pompei only showed us around 1/3 of the site and went into far too much detail on the wrong things which meant we missed lots of crucial parts of the city. I would not recommend booking a tour with this company from Sorrento unless you want to stop at a shopping centre where the best option is fast food and also see less than half of Pompei.

unfortunately my booking was changed 2 days before and I don't feel this was communicated clearly enough or given the chance to change it. I booked a 7 hour tour which became a 12 hour tour leaving me a long gap in pompeii with 2 young children. Representatives couldn't give me clear information about new timings and so we were left waiting in the heat for a long time. the pompeii guide was very informative but went very fast and it was difficult to keep up. the vesuvius guide was fantastic, very interactive and able to keep the children interested and motivated too, even after a long hot day. with clearer information further in advance this would have been an amazing day out.
