Napoli: Tour Gastronomico Pizza e Oltre

the food was delicious! really good portions. The guide Ciro was fun and told many stories of the city but did not have the best time management. we had reached the end of the time at 9:30pm the 3hr mark and still hadn't reached the last 4th stop. by the time we got there I was tried from walking the big distance from the seaside from the central city that I could not enjoy the dessert with the group. got a take away and made my way back to my hotel. I'd recommend this tour for sure as the food was amazing but just be ready to have it run late like 45mins late. I'd recommend for the company to maybe pick a closer pizzeria for the 3rd spot so the group isn't walking all over the city at night & maybe start it at 5:30 instead of 6:30 so that If goes later people aren't walking around the city at night at 10:30pm.

We had the most amazing day! The food was incredible! The fried pizza was incredible and the pizza restaurant was really pretty in the courtyard! But our guide Ciro really made it special for us! He knew everything about Naples and was so knowledgeable and fun! We had our 5 year old daughter with us, and she was included in everything! Ciro was so accommodating and patient with her! Would highly recommend to anyone!

We had booked to do the Pizza Tour in Napoli in August whilst visiting Naples on a cruise. It was my husband, our 9 year old daughter and me! On this particular day, Napoli was incredibly hot. We are from the UK so just not used to temperatures like that. We met Ciro at our pre-advised location. Great communication on where to meet and photo of host was helpful. We were instantly put at ease. Ciro was the most pleasant, patient and knowledgeable host. We were also pleasantly surprised that it was just us so it was like our own private tour. The tour went at our pace, which in the heat, was slow! All the stops were an absolute delight. The food was delicious - true, authentic Italian cuisine. Ciro was great with us. Intuitively knew when we needed to stop, slow down, eat, drink, etc. We also enjoyed hearing about the history of Naples and this was pitched at a level suitable for the for the 3 of us. Could not recommend this tour highly enough and would have to give it 10/10! Thanks Ciro

Amazing, great food and especially we enjoied our guide, Ciro Scognamiglio, who was very kind, warm and knowledgeable, not only about the local cousine, but about almost everything else regarding Naples, Italy, and the World in general. We can't recommend him enough! Highly recommended if you're into a very enjoiable, educative, and tasty food tour in Naples. Perfect!!!
