Da Napoli: Sorrento, Costiera Amalfitana e Pompei - Tour di un Giorno

Our guide was great and very knowledgeable. It would have been helpful if before we got off the bus he told us that the highlights of Pompeii were to the RIGHT of the site, instead I found out after we met back up to leave. It was very unfortunate that six members on the tour were late arriving at the pier and late again when we had to leave Pompeii. This delay meant we had our Positano photo op in the dark.

Disappointed with our Sorrento, Positano & Pompeii trip. Driver was prompt to collect at port, however did not speak throughout the trip. Gave us no information about anything we drove by or the stops we had. I was so looking forward to Positano and seeing the Amalfi Coast, we drove up the hill, stopped on the side of the road, got out and stood for approximately 20 minutes to take photos and that was the extent of it. We were then dropped at the side of the road in Sorrento, where we were supposed to have 1.5 hours of time, we had 1 hour, told where to return and that was it! No idea where to go or what to see here. Then off to Pompeii where we were told we’d have lunch first. Stopped outside, handed to a lady who got our tickets, told to return in 2.5 hours, get yourself a map and you can get lunch over the road but you better eat quick. We aimlessly took this experience in. To top it off two other passengers picked up, coughed the entire time in van! Pay extra, go with another tour.

Giovanni made the tour, he was very charismatic insightful and showed us stunning locations which we never knew about before the tour. The tour itself was a great mixture of scenery,history and flavour. Views of the Malfie coast from stunning angles you wouldn’t get on a coach, a great recommended street in sorento where we could taste the famous limoncello and finally the history of pompei. Again I would like to thank Giovanni for the day as without him it wouldn’t have been the same. Kate & Brent

Came from cruise ship.picked up all good. Driver asked for options eg missing positano so took pics of town from overlooking hill. Missed another town as worried about delays. In the end we still came back 45mins earlier than original time! Stick to your guns on what you paid to see and make sure you stick to it unless you have a really good reason for the change!

Giovanni was great. He spoke more English than I could speak Italian but managed very well with Google translate and we had a good day regardless. The van was comfortable although A/C was not always as cool as we might have liked. We got to see Positano and the Amalfi Coast with some great stops for photos. We had an hour in Sorrento to walk around, shop, and explore. Then to Pompeii for some real Napoli Pizza and two hours to visit the ancient city. Would recommend Giovanni and Askos Tours.

Thanks you for making our trip so memorable From the moment Francesco picked us up from the cruise ship he was so welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. His humour and choice of music really made us enjoy every minute of the day. He had everything so well planned out and we had just enough time at each location and even fitted in and recommended a beautiful restaurant for lunch. We enjoyed your company and your professionalism. Would highly recommend this trip.
