The city was beautiful. We arrived ahead of several tour groups which was great for exploring and getting pictures. I could have spent longer there. We took some pictures and had lunch and headed out. Monster park was interesting but small so doesn’t take as long. Would have preferred more time at dying city and reduce Monster park. Driver was friendly and prompt Ended up being private tour as we were only ones that day to book so really enjoyed the flexibility that came with being only group that day

Sandro was an excellent guide! Picked us up /dropped us off at specified place & on time. Took us to spots as advertised & even took us to a medieval town nearby the Monster Park for a quick peak. Sandro was polite, informative speaks excellent English ( and a few other languages) Went on excursion with my adult daughter, both of us were completely happy/comfortable with our tour! Will definitely try to book Sandro again for future visits to the area :) Grazie Mille Sandro!

Mirko made our long drive to the Dying City so enjoyable. He gave us Italian language lessons, pointed out things along the route, answered all our questions, and was always right on time for pickup’s. He stopped so we could buy water and also pulled over so we could take photos of the Roman Aqueducts. The Dying City is quite a strenuous walk to get to, but totally worth it. Its stone staircases, small passageways, arches, and flowers were incredible. I loved this city and I don’t want it to die. LOL :-) The Monster Park had the most interesting stone statues. I haven’t had that much fun in a park since I was a child. LOL. Very entertaining and beautiful. The whole day was awesome. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

What an amazing adventure! Lucca was a warm and knowledgeable guide. I really wanted to get to Civita di Bagnoregio and ultimately booked this because it seemed like the easiest way straight from port. I got so much more out of this, including a beautiful day of touring off the big buses and motorways and instead in a private car through the countryside and small towns. We made a quick stop in Celleno to see the beautifully preserved ancient town before heading to the Dying City and then ended the tour in Orvieto where we spent time in the amazing Byzantine style duomo. What a grand adventure! If you want to get off the beaten path and see local treasures outside of Rome from the comfort of a private tour, I highly suggest this one!
