Milano: Tour a Piedi nel Centro Storico con Ultima Cena e Duomo

Seeing the Last Supper was the highlight and the only way I could find tickets even though I tried well in advance. So, I am happy I did this tour because seeing the painting was an amazing experience. Our guide, however, was not personable and seemed to want to be anywhere than with us. In fact, she spent time on her cell phone while walking with us. She was very bothered by the dance festival that was going on and acted like she couldn't wait to be finished with our group.

This tour was excellent and we are so glad we did it. The detail that our guide Elisabetta provided for The Last Supper (including the church where it is held) as well as all of the other places we went on this tour (the castle, the duomo, the galleria, la scala opera house) was truly incredible. She provided so much good information and was so knowledgeable that this tour really blew us away. The amount of detail and history she shared represented a deep dedication to what she does and we were so impressed. I highly recommend this tour and Elisabetta specifically to anyone interested in Milan’s major sights!

The sights on the tour were very interesting, especially seeing The Last Supper. However, the start was very chaotic. It wasn't clear who the guide was and it started late. The group was large, about 20 people, and the guide was quite rude in chastising those who were a bit slow to keep up. We had a time constraint to see the painting which was reduced because the guide was late. We did not see La Scala, which was on the itinerary, because "it might rain", which wasn't good enough. The guide knew the history and information but was quite curt and seemed to be less than enthusiastic about the tour.

The ability to view The Last Supper was amazing, however the extravagant cost and very poor guide made the afternoon less than desirable. A large group of people attending was present at the designated time and place, however no one showed up until 1:40 (start time was 1:30, meeting time 1:25). The actual guide was later, then very rude rushing everyone. After the church, was again rude and didn’t watch for group crossing streets. By the time we dropped off after the castle, less than half the people were doing the same.

Unfortunately it was our first day since leaving the United States and we had terrible jet lag. it was quite hot and it was a walking tour. We saw the Last Supper, went to the gift shop and then left the tour. Neither one of us could go any further. I'm glad we got to see the last supper. that was my main goal. And our tour guide was wonderful.
