Ursus, our guide was amazing. You could tell the passion he had for the museum and all of its contents. He was well informed, kept us moving, and was able to always find a perfect spot to show us art. I loved the little facts he gave—my favorite being the detail about Michaelangelo being petty while painting the last judgment and including his nemesis as the demon at the beginning of Hell. He was excellent and he was absolutely the joy of our Vatican visit! I’m not sure I would recommend the breakfast, and for what we paid, it certainly wasn’t worth it. We never got our juices, our waiter never came back to our table—almost actively avoiding our eye contact, meekly raised hands, etc. We had requests and she just never came back. We paid over $300 for this tour, and the entry and breakfast came out to $50 or something like that. Get your own breakfast and and just do the tour.

Flavia was an excellent guide! Great to talk and easy to follow. In the end, not sure if breakfast is all worth it as you have tours that enter before. I thought with breakfast we’d have more of a special entrance with less people. The ticket doesn’t take you to the basilica and the queue is long. Having said that, very good to visit the Vatican and the Chapel!

Very disappointed that we were separated from the group we booked with and out in another group. Also, due to medical issues we were staying upstairs on top of the stairs so as not to have to walk down and walk back up. Guide wouldn’t let us wait up top. He made us walk down grab an ear piece that was difficult even hear, get a sticker and walk right back up.

The breakfast was dreadful and so stressful, the food quality was poor, spent most of my time trying to evade the bees and just gave up when the took over my plate, was impossible to keep them away! The guide was extremely knowledgeable but went on for far too long giving what felt like a uni lecture outside in the heat and then we had no time inside and the temp increased as well as the amount of people. Would not recommend, was not at all worth it!

I did this tour as a solo traveler, and it was one of the highlights of my trip. Our guide was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome from the very beginning. He kept the tour engaging the entire time, so it never felt boring, and he shared so many interesting facts without overwhelming the group. He made sure everyone was comfortable, waited for those who needed extra time, and kept the group together without making anyone feel rushed. The breakfast was delicious, and the entire experience was very well organized. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re traveling solo—you’ll feel well taken care of and have a fantastic experience.
