Tolle Erfahrung für die Kinder. Das Event war wie angekündigt auf Englisch. wir haben dann für die Kinder übersetzt. Die lustige Art von Gannikus - unserem Trainer - ist in der Simultanübersetzung leider etwas untergegangen. D.h. wenn man irgendwann in der Lage wäre, das ganze auf deutsch anzubieten wäre für kleinere Kinder sicherlich noch besser. Aber auch so, schon echt super

Markos began the experience by learning the names of our 3 boys. He then took them on a short tour of the different types of Roman weapons. Next, he setup a training obstacle course and taught them some sword, shield, and spear techniques. Then, he gave our boys an opportunity to carry out their life's mission, to fight each other and the other children for the mother's approval. I'm not sure what was harder to win, her approval or the matches. Markos was winsome and engaging. The place may be older and out of the way, but our twin 9 years and even our 13 year old enjoyed themselves.

Absolutely brilliant. Easily one of the highlights of our holiday and something the boys will remember for years. We booked two places for our two children, but the trainer got both me and the boys’ mum involved in the training and battles too. I normally hate audience participation and will do anything to avoid it, but he actually got me willingly involved, which says a lot! The trainer was fantastic. His English was perfect and he kept all the boys engaged throughout. Our group ranged from 8 to 13, but he managed the differences in age, size and ability really well and made sure nobody had too much of an advantage. The museum was good, but the training and final battle were the real highlights. The boys absolutely loved it. Water is provided and there’s a coffee/snack machine. One tip: it’s a lovely wooded area but there are biting flies, so bring insect repellent. I genuinely can’t praise it enough. If you’re considering booking, do it. It’s absolutely worth it.

What a laugh myself and husband had, we were like 2 kids. It was a choice between this or the colloseum and I am so glad we got to train to be gladiators and learn so much that is correct and not in movies.....100% everyone should do this. Sena (apologies if spelt wrong) was so knowledgeable and was amazing the whole time.....although very sadI had to use foam sword on husband haha

This was a fantastic experience and a major highlight of my time in not only Rome but in Italy itself! I greatly enjoyed the experience as a martial artist and a lover of history, and I was happy to have faced my brother in a well fought sparring session with the gladiator techniques we have learned! Special thanks to Sina and Ricardo who not only taught us gladiator fighting moves and reenactments but the history and facts of Roman gladiatorial combat!

Wonderful! We appreciated the first part of the tour with learning all about the gladiators. Then the warm up exercises was thought out. Next the lessons in fighting and finally the competitions. All of it was fun for the activities themselves but then our instructor was great!!! He knew what he was talking about, he had a passion for what he shared, he was encouraging and he had a great sense of humor. The women in the office helped us with our taxi and went above and beyond to make sure we knew how not to be swindled again and made sure the taxi that picked us up would charge us a fair price. So yes, I will highly recommend it.
