Napoli, Pompei e Vesuvio: Tour Completo di un Giorno con Pranzo e Ingressi Inclusi

Les visites guidées de Naples et Pompéi étaient top ! Merci aux 2 guides (dont Stefano). Concernant le reste on est resté sur notre fin… sur la partie du Vésuve, on ne peut pas dire qu’on ait eu une visite guidée. La personne nous a simplement expliqué ce qu’était les statues à l’entrée puis vous êtes laissés en libre pour l’ascension du Vésuve. Aucune autre explication n’a été apportée. Autant faire cette partie par vos propres moyens. La pizza margherita du midi ne mérite pas non plus sa place. Elle ne vendait pas du rêve et aucun choix ne vous ait laissé. Elles sont faites à la chaîne et on vous demande encore des pourboires pour le service en déposant un bol sur votre table. On a trouvé ça limite…

First we started with Ms. Elisa who was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable about everything during our Naples and Pompeii tour, explained everything in such a clear way and her english was amazing. Highly recommend. Then we changed tour guides for the Vesuvius part of the trip. Obviously, because it was a trekking tour we didn’t have a guid with us, she just explained somethings on the bus. The only thing that I didn’t like it’s was the time that was given to climb and get down from Vesuvius which was too little. It was enough just to climb it and immediately get down. You couldn’t really stay there and marvel at what you are actually seeing. I wish we had at least 30 minutes more. Overal recommend the trip if you don’t mind the Vesuvius part.

Tout s'est très bien passé à part le restaurant où il faut payer 1€ pour utiliser les toilettes ! Et le guide du Vésuve, David soit disant francophone que personne ne comprenait car il était ivre et nous demande de gros pourboires dès notre arrivée et à la fin de sa prestation incompréhensible de 10min. D'autre part 1h20 pour monter et redescendre du Vésuve, c'est beaucoup trop court. Merci à nos autres guides qui ont été formidable Elisa, Stefano, Jusie et Victorio le chauffeur du retour.

Pros: + exceptional guide for both Naples & Pompeii; very good level of English & storytelling + well structured plan for the day that comprised lots of activities and sight seeing Cons: - first transportation (van) had little leg space for a +1.8m person - lunch location felt like we were hidden at the back corner of the restaurant and we were served drinks from a trolley (options for food were limited: margherita pizza, gnocchi tomato sauce or salad mozzarella) - departure from Vesuvius was very confusing; we hiked by ourselves while the guide was supposed to wait for us at the exit; at the time we were supposed to meet up, the bus and guide were not at the exit point, but waiting for us 300m away down the road; we found the bus by mistake just when it was about to leave

Had to move from one vehicle to another several times. Several groups were mixed and regrouped several times. Timing was poor between different excursion. Lot of time wasting . Lunch was not organised well. Had to wait for more that 1 hour to get the pizza. Restaurant team was not interested with the tour group but buddy with other clients .

Pour le tour de ville de Naples et Pompéi notre guide Stephano était excellent. Ces explications et ses anecdotes amusantes ont rendu ces visites des plus attrayantes. Le repas était très bien. Nous avons dû faire la visite du Vésuve sans guide volcanologue car l'horaire des visites n'était pas du tout compatible. Nous sommes arrivés au sommet et la prochaine visite francophone était à 16h20 et anglophone à 16h30. On devait être de retour au bus pour 16h55. Nous étions déçu...

Estuvo bastante buena la experiencia y los guías hablaban un español bastante claro. Lo único que me pareció mal fue que el tour decía que incluía un guía para la subida al Vesubio pero al final nos dijeron que los guías serían los mismos guías del parque Vesubio y que teníamos que hablar con ellos para cualquier pregunta. Sin embargo, durante la subida y en los puestos de descanso no había ningún guía a disposición para preguntar. Yo creo que esa parte no se cumplió de lo prometido en el tour; fuera de eso, muy bueno el tour.

This is a good option for those limited on time as the tour takes you from Naples to Pompeii, Vesuvius, and returns to Naples in good time. The Pompeii tour was engaging and interesting - I would definitely recommend this part! Lunch was nice (pizza or salad) and got to meet others on the tour. Vesuvius was a good experience, but didn't think 1 hour 15 was enough (the walk up to the top is about 30 minutes from where they drop you, so you don't have much time to stay at the top). As for the city tour, it was somewhat disappointing: only really saw the cathedral and most was observed from the (moving) mini van. Saying that, they did show us an amazing panoramic spot with the opportunity to take pictures. All in all, I would recommend the Pompeii tour; add Vesuvius if you're pressed for time or for the convenience of having transport sorted; probably pass on city tour... check out their GYG profile/ page for the alternative packages suggested:)
