Tour di Gruppo Cappella Sistina e Musei Vaticani: Salta la Fila e Scopri i Tesori di Roma

Glad we did the tour at 0730 but there were still a lot of people for that hour. I liked how the flow of people moved pretty swiftly and I loved hearing my guide via the earpiece. I was at the Vatican in 1988 and did not appreciate everything mainly due because we just walked around on our own. Knowing exactly what you’re looking at and the expertise of the guide really helped us enjoy the experience. My daughter and husband were intrigued and that made the tour worth every penny.

Solomon was our guide and she was fantastic! She had a good sense of humor, was knowledgeable and was very nice. We saw & learned so much. It was hectic but she maneuvered all of us very well through the crowd. She even told us about a great picture spot. I thought we were going to be able to go into the Basilica from a back entrance but we didn’t. I read so many tour descriptions so I’m not sure if this tour was supposed to include that. It was quite hot after the tour so we just sat in the shade in St Peter’s Square and did not end up going into the Basilica. Of course the Sistine Chapel and Vatican museums were a must see! Especially after the conclave!!

Tour maravilhoso. Super recomendo a empresa. Ponto de encontro fácil de localizar e o nosso guia foi o senhor George, um senhor muito simpático. Somos brasileiros e fizemos o tour em espanhol, que foi ótimo, inclusive meus pais idosos entenderam super bem. Sugiro fazer.. pois, fizemos outro tour com brasileiros em português que chegou um momento um turista do sul começou a falar de política. Só não estragou o passeio porque o guia sabiamente encerrou a conversa.

Los museos son lindos y el guía nos llevó los más rápido posible, nos dejó dentro del museo y como turistas primerizos tuvimos que pedir ayuda a la seguridad para salir. Mucho apuro y no se pudo completar Capilla Sixtina, que espero la devolución del dinero de ese contrato, porque por más que haya sido un tema que sea ajeno a las partes, yo pagué para verlos y para mi y mi esposo.

The tour’s only plus is the guided entrance and quick line. Apart from that you skip lots of precious exhibits as nobody tells you about them. The tour includes a few museums, which is fine, but it would be good to give you a map and tell you that, for example, the Egyptian, Etruscan, Pope mobiles, etc. interesting parts are not part of the tour and you can visit them on your own afterwards. This would be a good advice. The guide had heavy Italian accent and was trying to make political and sometimes dirty jokes, which I personally find unnecessary.

O passeio foi bom. A guia começou 30 minutos antes do horário previsto, o que não foi um problema pra mim pq cheguei bem cedo mas algumas pessoas chegaram já com o passeio em andamento, o que pra eles não deve ter sido legal. A guia era italiana mesmo e falava inglês muito rápido, muitas vezes não dava pra entender o que ela falava. Ela era bem doida mas engraçada, andava muito rápido e era fácil de se perder. Parecia ter muito conhecimento sobre a história do Vaticano, dos artistas, de Roma e etc. No geral foi bom.

Das war eine schlechte Tour und entsprach NICHT der Beschreibung! Wir sind nicht um 7.30, vor dem Besucherstrom, in die Vatikanischem Museen gegangen, sondern haben 1 Stunde auf dem Petersplatz gewartet. Danach haben sehr wohl in einer Warteschlange ca 30 min vor dem Museum warten müssen. Durch das Museum ging es dann im Laufschritt, wir mussten uns durch Massen an weiteren Besuchern drängeln, es war schwierig , der Führerin zu folgen, somit auch ihren Ausführungen. Vor dem Petersdom hat sie die Tour dann beendet und uns lediglich den Eingang gezeigt, keine Führung mehr im Petersdom. Das war das Geld nicht wert. Sehr schade!
