We were picked up at our apartment in Catania at the agreed time and drove to Mount Etna in a comfortable car. Along the way, Oratio enthusiastically told us about the formation of the volcano and its effect on Sicily. After walking a loop around the lower crater, we were picked up at the restaurant where we sheltered from the rain. After this, we went to a local shop with many unique products where we were also allowed to sample a lot. This tour is worth the money because you have an enthusiastic guide, Oratio, who has a great deal of knowledge about Sicily. There was a lot of laughter in the car, and the conversation never fell silent. Oratio offers you various options depending on the circumstances, and for example, we didn't get wet from the rain twice because the car was parked close to the door!
