Issues with the tickets were because the tour company had failed to email them to me. Headout staff resolved the issue patiently. The monument seemed to me self-important and self-aggrandising, its size out of proportion with the area but views from the top are stunning. Hundreds of steps to climb with little support from staff. Quite ridiculous to have to show your ticket to use the toilet! Palazzo Veneziana is vastly better and well worth the cost of the ticket
