Pompei, cavallo e pranzo con degustazione di vini

A fun experience that's well worth the price considering it was three guided activities in one. The length of time for each activity was just right. Although you only get to see the highlights of Pompeii, the 2hr whistlestop tour was enough to get a sense of what the town was like pre-79 AD thanks to Sonia's detailed guide through the city. The food and wine at the local vinyard were delicious. If you enjoy dishes and wines sourced from locally grown foods this is definitely the tour for you. For those hesitating about whether or not they should do the horseback ride through the vineyard, don't worry of you have little experience with horses (like me), the guide is there to help you and the horse along so that you are able to take in the stunning views of Vesuvius and the surrounding landscape. Thank you to all the guides who made my day. If I could do it all over again I would.

Today was utterly heavenly. We began with meeting our archaeological guide Liliana outside of the Pompei ruins. She then spent the morning teaching us all about the history and she did so in the most interesting way. We would have definitely been lost without her. We were then collected by a delightful air conditioned vehicle and taken to experience local wine tasting on a vineyard. The food was delicious and paired really well with the wine. Closing out our day with a ride on Vesuvius was the cherry on top of an already perfect day. Our guide was wonderful and the horses matched all levels of experience. This is a must do when visiting Pompei.

Fantastic experience! It was incredibly hot, but Miriam did her best to keep us all in the shade on the tour. She was so knowledgeable about Pompei and a wonderful, friendly hostess! The wine tasting was excellent and in an idyllic setting. The horse riding was also just lovely! Alexandra and Rossella were wonderful hostesses at the barn and guides. I felt very safe on the horse (Clara!) and the views on Mt. Vesuvius on horseback were once in a lifetime, stunning! The horses are very well cared for, and both guides were obviously very experienced teachers and guides! I highly recommend all of these guides! They were amazing and all were a joy to be around!

Well what a day!! So well organised! From the communication prior, clear instructions for the meeting point, helpful train directions. Our guide was amazing, the tour around Pompeii was 2 hours, perfect time. The guide was a local resident and he was passionate and amazing! So interesting. Now onto the vineyard in a air con posh car. Wow the wine, wow the food!! That was worth the trip price alone! Just perfect. Finshed with a perfect horse ride. You didn't need to ride the horses took care of everything. Calm and kind walking through the vineyard. What a day I absolutely recommend 👌

Ein rundum gelungener Ausflug und absolute Empfehlung! Von Anfang bis Ende war alles hervorragend organisiert. Das Team war unglaublich freundlich und wir haben uns während des gesamten Tages bestens aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Führung durch Pompeji war sehr interessant und informativ. Unsere Guide Manuela hat die Geschichte der Stadt mit viel Wissen und Begeisterung vermittelt und die Führung lebendig und spannend gestaltet. Anschließend ging es zur Weinprobe mit leichtem Mittagessen in einem wunderschönen Weingut am Vesuv. Die Atmosphäre war fantastisch, die Weine und Speisen sehr lecker und alles wurde verständlich und interessant erklärt. Das absolute Highlight war für meine Tochter der abschließende Ausritt durch die Weinberge am Vesuv. Die Landschaft war wunderschön und der Ausritt ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Ein perfekt organisierter Tag mit tollen Erlebnissen, freundlichen Menschen und vielen schönen Eindrücken. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team!

Amazing from start to finish. Journey was so smooth and picks ups/drop offs seamless. Pompeii and our guide were incredible! The winery and the views there were perfect and the horse riding round the vineyards overlooking Mt Vesuvius was unforgettable. Recommend this excursion to anyone - it was my favourite day travelling around Italy. We had a great group too, and got to chat to a few American couples over our wine and lunch who were all so nice and great fun!

Absolutely amazing experience all around!! We truly did not want the day to end. We started off with the guided tour of Pompeii with our guide Liliana. She was extremely knowledgeable and spoke great english and was able to answer any and all of our questions! She has been giving tours for 20+ years! Our group for the guided tour of Pompeii was the perfect size of 14 people. My boyfriend and I happened to be the only ones who had booked the wine tasting and horseback riding today so it was basically a private wine tasting, lunch, and horseback experience! Both of our drivers were extremely kind and friendly along with our waiter for the wine tasting and lunch experiences with delicious food and wine. The horseback riding was the cherry on top of a perfect day and was absolutely amazing with terrific staff as well,. Would 110% recommend this experience for anyone visiting!

Pompeii was amazing, the wine tasting was very good with a very good meal, the horseback riding was okay. The horse was the best part and the view. I didn’t realize we would just be walking around a winery with the horses and instead of explaining history of the land she just talked about the grapes and trees. Still a great view just wish it was higher and more historical. Overall a great day. Recommend.

Our driver from Naples was great, pickup was very close to our hostel!! The tour of Pompeii was very informative and our guide Victoria was amazing. She led us through the most iconic surviving architecture of Pompeii and added in fun tidbits about Pompeii's culture! Due to weather, the wine tasting was right after the Pompeii tour. We honestly liked this more because we were able to have great conversation with other groups on the tour! It worked out because we convinced a couple groups to join us for the horseback riding (instead of visiting a second vineyard). The horseback riding was amazing!! The vineyard we rode on was situated with a view of Vesuvius on one side and the Amalfi Coast on the other. This trip is one of the best ways to experience the Pompeii and Vesuvius region.

Overall the experience was good, however it was a little disjointed with the three different experiences as we were not kept informed what was going to happen next. The Pompeii tour was excellent once we found our guide who was waiting in a different location to what we were told. The Horse Riding was amazing and the lunch was fabulous in a great location.

Best tour we’ve done in Italy! Highly recommended. Everyone was fantastic! Our driver Roberto was a gem. He picked us up at our hotel and returned us to our hotel. He treated us like family. He gave us a dinner recommendation and we went! At the ruins Viviana was our guide and she was excellent! So knowledgeable and made it fun! At the wine tasting and lunch portion Lorenzo was fabulous! Again we felt like family and had a great time together with the other family seated with us. And finally our horseback riding was amazing too. Alexandra was so kind and patient and took us on a great ride pointing out some amazing views. This was the best tour!!!
