My husband and I really enjoyed our tour with our tour guide, Georgia. We happened to be the only people that signed up for our timeslot so we ended up having a private tour, which was great. Georgia was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about Matera's history from the very distant past to today.

Giorgia was THE BEST!! What she didnt know about Matera is not worth knowing! Full of interesting information she made the 2 hr tour through the Sassi feel like 20 mins. We could have spent the whole day with her. Thank you so much, Giorgia, for a wonderful morning tour🙏🙏
