Tour guidato a piedi sulle tracce del Caravaggio a Roma

Exceptional! Navid was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Caravaggio and Italian art in general, and wove a story about the life and times of the artist. As an artist himself, Navid also could get into the details of the works and how they changed how painting was done. As a bonus, he learned that the current senate building, in which Caravaggio lived and worked during his lifetime, was open for touring and so included it in our walk. The walk itself was nicely paced and never too strenuous for us 70-plus visitors.

Our guide, Patricia, was fantastic. She was passionate with Caravaggio and knew so many things about his art and his life. She took us to the street where Caravaggio lived and gave us so many information about his paintings and the way he was working. It was not an academic guided tour but a walk with someone who really knows about art and enjoys it.
