Napoli: Tour Privato di Pompei, Ercolano e Vesuvio

This is a good option if you want to fit in Pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvius in one day trip from Naples. It’s a bit rushed and some of us wished we had more time in Pompeii. But it gave us the opportunity to use our other days in Naples for other things, like the archeological museum in Naples which houses so many of the artefacts from Pompeii. Our driver and guide were both great. Be aware you need to be moderately fit to climb to the top of Vesuvius but it’s worth it.

Luigi was brilliant, him being an archaeologist was icing on the cake, he shared his wealth of information with us during our transportation, he was oozing with passion and an excellent driver as well top mark 10/10 Our tour guide Valentina was top class, she was patient, gave ample time for photos, did not Riyadh us, extremely knowledgeable and informative, could explain everything we asked, transported us back to Roman times, simply superb once again 10/10 Very well organized trip, faultless Kudos to the tour operators

Great way to see and understand a large amount of sites with a limited amount of time. Guide at Pompeii and Herculaneum was very good. Both sites are huge, busy and confusing without a guide. The walk/hike up Vesuvius was beautiful but crazy steep. No guide needed but definitely a walking stick is handy. There’s a man who lends them for a small tip at the base of the trail. Steeeeeeep climb with switchbacks. Glad I did it though. This tour was convenient and gave us a really good overview of both ancient cities and the volcano.

The driver was amazing and arrived on time in a brand new Mercedes. The tour is great if you want to see a lot in one day. Guide is funny, dynamic and knowledgeable. We were able to avoid all lines and see a ton in a matter of hours. I loved that he was not a typical tour guide and ensured we were able to see the most of each site in one day.
